Red Dead Redemption to get More Free DLC and Jackalopes

A jackalope has been spotted on the frontier, and like some sort of demon-horned Easter Bunny, it has been hiding free DLC in our Red Dead Redemption baskets.  This new content will patch the game enabling players to see the outfits from other DLC like those found in the Liars and Cheats or Legends and Killers packs.  There are also two new outfits that will grant special abilities in the single player campaign.

Battlefield: Bad Company Co-Op DLC is Xbox Live Member's Choice

The votes have been tabulated, and the results are in: co-op rules.  A few weeks ago, Xbox Live Gold members had the chance to vote for their choice of potential deals on Live content.  The deal with the most votes was the DLC for Battlefield: Bad Company 2, including the 4 player online co-op addition, Onslaught mode.  Starting on October 18, this pack will be available for 400 MS points, or $5.  If you've been holding off on this awesome addition to the game, perhaps this deal will be enough to sway you.  It's nice to see a co-op piece of content rising to the top of the polls!

Everybody Please Welcome the Panasonic Jungle

It's not often we get to bring you new video game system announcements.  It's even less often that such announcments aren't related to the big three of Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo.  This rare occasion is the news of a new player in the handheld system arena from Panasonic (their first since the 3DO).  Dubbed the Jungle, the device will focus on online multiplayer, namely MMOs.  That sounds very co-op friendly, doesn't it?  World of Warcraft in your pocket?  Well, not yet; the Jungle is rumored to run on Linux.  What we do know about the device is sparse at this point: a slick HD capable screen, a full QWERTY keyboard plus standard gaming buttons, wi-fi, and a nifty-keen clamshell design.
