Half-Minute Hero was a quirky title for the PSP which challenge players to complete various quests, tasks, and gameplay elements all in the span of 30 seconds. Whether you were playing an RPG, a Shoot Em Up, or an RTS, the game had all the elements of these games wrapped up in a surprisingly quick package. We loved it.

Runic Games have launched a teaser website for Torchlight 2, the sequel to last years popular single player Action/RPG. We reviewed the game and loved every bit of it, but were sad to see co-op missing. At last our prayers will be answered this spring when Torchlight 2 launches with full co-op support.

Sure the hi-definition remake of Serious Sam is out already for both The First Encounter and The Second Encounter, but sometimes we just want to re taste the original that we so fondly remember. Sadly for a lot of PC gamers, it's near impossible to find some quality older titles - most are out of print and unless you hit EBay at the right moment, it becomes extremely frustrating to find.

Plants Vs. Zombies was a casual game smash last year, and saw releases on PC and iDevices. As a tower defense fan, I picked the game up off Steam and really had a good time with it. A simplified tower defense formula coupled with a whole bucketload of humor and charming graphics made for a great combination. Next month, Xbox 360 gamers will be able to enjoy Plants Vs. Zombies for the first time, and best of all, there's a brand new co-op mode! Two players will be able to select their own seeds to plant, and by working together, they can defend one lawn from the undead invaders, all at the same time. Player 2 can drop in and out of the adventure mode at any time. The zombie killin' action begins on September 8, for $15.
The Dragon Quest series is nothing if not traditional. While its genre contemporaries dabble in all manner of ridiculous systems, ennui and flamboyantly-dressed ladyboys, Dragon Quest has been content to deliver a solid, lighthearted adventure time and time again.

Kick-Ass, the movie based on the graphic novel of the same name, comes out today on DVD and Blu-ray. To celebrate the occasion, WHA Entertainment has permanently lowered the price of the Kick-Ass game on its exclusive home of the PlayStation Network. The game is a two player co-op brawler and uses licensed material from the movies quite extensively.
