What's not to like about Diablo 2, really? There's something for everyone to enjoy, from the casual clicker to the hardcore binge-gamer. If Diablo 3 is as good as Diablo 2, or perhaps even better, I shudder to think what will happen. Gamers everywhere may lose their jobs from calling in sick days.

It's the Fouth of July holiday here in the United States, everywhere else it's just July 4th - but that means big celebrations around the country with plenty of food, drink and pretty exploding chemicals. Despite that we're all determined to get some gaming in, and it looks like the staff has exclusive access to something filled with plenty of it's own explosions. I won't crack down and tell you right out, but you'll find out soon enough.
Since we've recently had an announcement of Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2's returning DLC, I'll keep these details short and sweet. 5 playable characters plus a few new challenge mission packs for Marvel UA2 will be available on Xbox Live, as well as PSN for $9.99 (800). We have to admit, Madden NFL 2010 having co-op was pretty exciting - we don't seem to get enough sports games without playing against other people. This year, Madden NFL 2011 sort of did away with the literal co-op, but not completely. EA Sports is calling this new mode "Online Team Play," and it has its own comp stomp co-op option.

And now Deathspank and Sparkles joins the long list of duos as the co-op pair is playable in the upcoming XBLA and PSN game called Deathspank. Looks like Sparkles got the shaft on the title for that one.
Here's a nice little surprise if you own Perfect Dark HD on Xbox Live Arcade - a Crackdown 2 agent. How do you get him? All you need to do is play the final version of Crackdown 2 and upon firing up Perfect Dark HD the game will detect the save file and unlock "Agent 4."
There is much to love in War for Cybertron; the designers borrowed heavily from successful co-op franchises like Gears of War and Call of Duty, then added in a well-integrated transformation mechanic to create a title that is truly worthwhile in and of itself, notwithstanding the iconic robots.
Being a good host can be hard work. Thankfully, an understanding co-op partner and a lobby system can make hosting a little easier on a guest-weary gamer.
If you don't care about any of those awesome goodies picture above in the Fable 3 Collector's Edition, perhaps downloading the game in pieces is more up your alley. We've already heard Fable 3 will be Episodic in nature, and now word comes straight from Lionhead that episodic digital distribution of the game will occur shortly after launch - no doubt fueled by the success of Fable 2's episodic release.
