After a delay in order to address feedback from last month's Tidal Basin update, Ubisoft dropped a new update yesterday for Tom Clancy's The Division 2 that added two new "Classified Assignments" for Annual Pass holders, and (more importantly) the 8-player raid. The raid just went live and if you're reading this, you're probably not racing to be the world's first group to clear it, but you might be interested in seeing those attempts or checking it our on your own.

Way back in the year of our Lord 2009, a small project by the name of Minecraft popped up on the TIGSource forums.  Since then, it has skyrocketed into one of the most influential and widely-played titles in the history of gaming, and Mojang has a whole slew of celebrations planned to commemorate its lengthy history.

As Spring begins to turn to Summer, we've got our eyes on one date in particular right now: July 19, aka the release date for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order. It's been awhile since we've had a new entry in the series and what feels like even longer since a game has come along that lets you play with friends in whatever config you want (couch, online, WLAN, a mix of all those). We've been eagerly awaiting for some more info about the game outside of the short video clips we've seen so far, and Game Informer is here to feed that need.

One of last year's more interesting stories was that of Monster Hunter: World's relatively rabid success.  The game's ability to widen its accessibility to more mainstream audiences while still mostly maintaining the magic of the franchise made it a bonafide hit for Capcom.  So naturally, they've supported MH:W heavily since its early 2018 release.

After launching first on Switch and then PlayStation 4, SNK 40th Anniversary Collection has finally arrived on Xbox One as well. Collecting more than 25 arcade and NES classics in one slick package, half of which support local co-op, this collection from Digital Eclipse might just be the retro compilation to beat this generation....

Two weeks ago, "Operation Oracle" dropped for Ghost Recon Wildlands and introduced a new character - Major Cole D. Walker (voiced by Jon Bernthal) - along with a couple missions featuring him. Ubisoft also teased that these missions would "challenge your perception of the truth [within the game world]" and that what you "discover here might very well set the scene for the future." A week later, that future was revealed as Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint and - surprise! - Bernthal will be returning as Walker and the primary antagonist.

Part of the Co-Opticrew is entering stealth mode for the weekend thanks to recent news of Tom Clancy's adepts producing another backwards baseball cap simulator.  In preparation for the stealthy-but-not game's release later this year, we'll mostly be playing video games, but I'm assuming that activity will be interlaced with mud plastering sessions and figuring out which caterpillars are safe to eat.

Behold, it is I, the bearer of news great and small.  Today's gift for the masses probably won't impact a large number of readers, but I'm fairly certain owners of Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition on Xbox One X will be pleased as punch.

There's a new asymmetrical multiplayer game in town called Bossgard and for this week's "Let's Play Co-Op," Mike, Jason, and Nick donned their viking helmuts and viking gear to take on some killer bread! In this 1 v 5 game, 5 players take on the roles of different vikings to bring down 1 big boss. You can have humans in all of those slots, or you can do 5 humans vs 1 A.I. boss (our preference). The title is currently in Early Access on Steam and there's certainly some areas where you can see this is still a work in progress, like the balancing between the two sides, but there's certainly promise.

If World War Z is any indicator, it seems that folks are still very much into the concept of blasting zombies with their friends.  Who knew?
