Magic: Duels of the Planeswalkers Expansion Arrives Next Week

If you've been wondering when the DLC for Magic the Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalkers is coming, wonder no more.  Next Wednesday, October 21, new cards, new decks, new puzzles, and new opponents are all coming your way.  Three new playable decks, including the AI-only "Relics of Doom" will be available.  Each of the original decks get new cards to unlock, and new single player and co-op levels are included.  Famous planeswalking dragon Nicol Bolas makes an appearance, too!  Sadly, only three new puzzle levels make it in the expansion; I really enjoyed these, and thought far more should have been included.  All the card-slinging fun can be had for a mere 400 MS points.  If only they'd add in online co-op!

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 DLC Characters Leaked in Gamespot Video

This week we found out about Carnage as the first downloadable character for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2, and Gamespot's latest video confirms the next character as Psylocke for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.  But it's what appears at about 6:40 into the video that really caught our eye when characters Magneto, Cable and Black Panther are clearly visible of those available to place in your team.

Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Co-Op "Ruined the Experience" Claims Infinity Ward

Let's face it, it's been a long time since we've known there wouldn't be campaign co-op in Modern Warfare 2.  We got a short quote about how it didn't fit into the single player campaign, and that was that.  We argued, and kicked dirt at the umpire, but really it didn't solve anything.  But now we get a little more detail behind the decision from Infinity Ward's Robert Bowling.

Left 4 Dead 2 Boycott Ends With Back Patting For All

The much publicized, discussed, and debated (at least over the Internet) Left 4 Dead 2 boycott has finally come to end; not with a Tank roar, but a flood of self-congratulations and back patting it would seem.  Ars Technica reported yesterday on the forum post that brought the boycott to an end by the two members of the Steam community that began it all, Agent of Chaos and Walking_Target.  You may remember that it wasn't that long ago that these two gentlemen also snagged themselves a special trip to Valve, courtesy of Valve.  So what does this mean for all the L4D fans out there?  Well, it's ok to buy and enjoy the co-op goodness of L4D2 because L4D will still be supported... you know, like Valve talked about months ago.
