Square-Enix, most famous for the Final Fantasy series, has announced a brand new original game coming to the Xbox Live Arcade later this year. Called 0 Day Attack on Earth the game is a four player co-op top down shooter similar to Geometry Wars.

This game looks pretty interesting as it's sort of a hybrid game from SNK mixing their popular King of Fighters characters with traditional SHMUP gameplay - crazy bullet fields and all.

As a huge Transformers fan, I had mixed feelings about the game for the first Transformers movie. Graphically, it was amazing. The destructible environments, the transformations, the open world aspects, these were all quite enjoyable. Unfortunately, the gameplay was horrid, extremely repetitive, and a total mess. I ask you, how can a game about giant robots that transform into cars and tanks turn out so boring?
