[E3 2018] - Microsoft Press Conference Recap

Microsoft's E3 2018 press conference wrapped up just a few hours ago, and there were some exciting things announced, like a new Halo title, Dying Light 2, and Gears 5. While Microsoft Studios is making the right moves towards "hey, come check out our excellent console," it was a bit disappointing that they didn't have more to say about what they were showing.

[E3 2018] - Crackdown 3 Screens and Video, Delay till 2019

It's unfortunate, but Crackdown 3 has been delayed until 2019 - moving it out of this fall as originally planned. The game was originally slated to launch alongside the Xbox One X last year, but has seen troubled development. If the latest screens and videos are any indication though - the third game in this cult classic franchise might be worth the wait.

[E3 2018] Anthem Gets Release Date and Some Co-Op Gameplay

The one game that got the most focus/stage-time during this year's EA press conference was BioWare's forthcoming action-RPG title, Anthem. While they brought a handful of the development team on-stage to talk about the game and what players can expect, I'll admit, it was a little disappointing that more wasn't shown/discussed. This is particularly surprising when you consider it will be arriving February 22, 2019.

[E3 2018] EA Reveals New Co-Op Platformer Unravel Two

EA Play's E3 2018 press conference just wrapped up, and while there wasn't a lot of co-op news, there were a couple things that caught our interest. Up first, Coldwood Interactive revealed Unravel Two, a follow-up to their charming single-player only platformer from 2016. This time around, though, two players can enjoy all the yarn-tastic adventure. Oh, and it's available right this very moment.

Our Weekend In Gaming: Rise Of The Electronic Three

While it's most likely out of mortal fear, none of the Co-Opticrew is acknowledging the "biggest event in gaming" this weekend.  Instead, we're choosing to stave off the panicked rush of video game news for as long as our minds will allow, which means we're diving deep into titles that really get the dopamine flowing.  Be it through loot, quests, or leaderboards, we're keeping focused on contentment before the flood gates inevitably open.

Hitman 2 Includes New Co-Op Mode, Available Now Via Pre-Order

IO Interactive announced yesterday that everyone's favorite silent assassin (if you're doing it right), Agent 47, will be returning in a brand new "world of assassination" in Hitman 2. This is a direct sequel to the episodic and extraordinarily fun quasi-reboot of Hitman that dropped in 2016. What's particularly exciting this time around is that a new co-op mode, called "Sniper Assassin," has been added, and it's available to play right now.

Generation Zero Pits You And Your Buddies Against Deadly Machines

Avalanche Studios announced their newest self-published game today, Generation Zero. The title will follow in the footsteps of their previous works and be an open-world game, but there's a little bit of a different twist here. Set in a reimagined Sweden during the 1980s, you and up to three buddies can team up to fight off a hostile force of machines.
