The upcoming compilation promises 3 co-op shoot 'em ups and more!

Taito Milestones 2 Will Bring 10 Classic Arcade Games to Switch in August

Last year, ININ released Taito Milestones, an exclusive collection of 10 classic arcades, for Nintendo Switch. The low-frills presentation and mundane selection of games resulted in a fairly niche product. Perhaps the developer took feedback into account, for Taito Milestones 2 sounds more exciting. Of the ten games coming in the new comp...

Learn how Deathwish Enforcers got so gritty, funny, and weird in our in-depth interview!

Deathwish Enforcers - Developer Interview

Deathwish Enforcers is an amazing run-and-gun shooter/platformer in the style of Konami's classic arcade game, Sunset Riders. The unusual mix of grimy 1970s vibe, dark humor, gangsters, and zombies certainly make for a memorable shooter. To find out how it all came together, we interviewed Christopher Obritsch, head of Monster Bath Studios...

Our initial review of Diablo 4

Diablo IV Release Co-Op Impressions and Video Review in Progress

Diablo IV is set to release to the masses this week, with early access starting on June 2nd. We were lucky enough to gain access to a near final build of the game last week with all content unlocked. The intention was to develop a review, but the reality set in - this game is way too big and constantly in motion to give the traditional review treatment.

Players will gather resources and build things together in a world of floating islands.

Colorful Co-op Survival Game 'Solarpunk' Announced for PC and Consoles

You can't throw a rock without hitting a survival game these days. I just threw one, and it hit Smalland: Survive the Wilds! Well, Solarpunk, the upcoming survival game from Cyberwave and Rokaplay, differentiates itself with a fantastic setting: the sky. Players will travel between floating islands on an airship and work together to build, farm, and craft gadgets. The developers plan to first launch on Steam Early Access next year, followed by console versions. To make all that happen, they've just launched a Kickstarter.

Tower defense will become a bash when everybody's smashing robots together.

Bish Bash Bots to Bring Co-op Tower Defense and Action to Consoles and PC

Nobody wants to just defend towers anymore. Nowadays, you've got to move around and hit things while protecting your towers. Indie developer Catastrophic_Overload and publisher Firestoke know these things all too well. Hence, Bish Bash Bots will combine tower defense with the time-honored tradition of bashing robots. Even better, Bish Bash Bots will support 4-player local and online co-op when it arrives on consoles and PC later this year.

Smalland: Survive the Wilds from Merge Games is an early access game for PC that casts players as tiny Smallfolk in a big, dangerous forest. Two players can compete against enemy toasters in this silly physics-based sports game.

Play Volleyball With Toasters in 'Toasterball' for Steam

Volleyball is a fun and simple sport that lends itself well to arcade-style games like Volley Pals. Indie developer Les Crafteurs has taken a different approach with Toasterball, a physics-based volleyball game that recently launched on Steam after a period of Early Access. Here, players control toasters who hit the ball by flopping around and launching slices of toast into the air. It's a very silly experience that supports 2-player local co-op.

The title that was used for European Bomberman games will get its first original game.

Dynablaster, Offshoot of Bomberman, Is Coming to Consoles and PC with Co-op!

Back in the 1980s and 90s, games were sometimes renamed when released in Europe. Contra became Probotector, TMNT became the Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles, and a handful of Bomberman games were called Dynablaster. Now BBG Entertainment, the German company responsible for the really unpleasant looking Boulder Dash Plus, is resurrecting Dynablaster with a brand-new game. The new Dynablaster is coming to Xbox, Switch, and Steam in July, and it will support 4-player local and online co-op.
