You and up to three co-op buddies play as dwarves that are out to mine planets and fight off bugs. There are different classes and character progression mechanics that make for a pretty interesting/solid co-op FPS.

It's a CRPG bonanza around these parts, as Divinity: Original Sin 2 has thoroughly ousted Destiny 2 as the co-op game of choice. Given how long the original... Original Sin took to beat, I can't say I'm very surprised, nor can I pretend that I wasn't expecting this version's glowing reviews. It's always nice to see new nations get added to Civilization games. They make the world feel just a touch larger and more varied. They generally add fun, new strategies to both wield and plan against, as well as bringing a bit more artistic flair to the g- ah, who am I kidding? I just like 'em cause they give me a few more targets to crush on my quest for global domination.
One of my favorite couch co-op games from the past couple years has been LEGO Dimensions. My wife and I enjoyed picking up the (at times, confusing) expansion packs that added some of our favorite franchises to the title, and playing through new worlds and familiar ones with some of our favorite characters from pop culture.
