Final Update for Battleborn Dropped Last Week, Development Over

So it was that with a forum post notification of the update being available, Gearbox's Battleborn came to an end, of a sorts. The servers are still up and running, and will continue that way for at least the "foreseeable future," but content development has ended and there won't be any further balance patches.

Bungie outlines a better defined "season of content"

New Gear and Clan Perks Next Season in Destiny 2

Towards the latter half of Destiny's lifespan, seasonal events, like the Halloween-themed "Festival of the Lost" or the winter-themed "The Dawning," started popping up. At this past weekend's TwitchCon, Bungie said that one of the improvements they have planned for Destiny 2 is to have four clearly defined seasons within the game and that each season will bring with it tweaks/improvements, and new loot.

Back in September, Atlus announced that Dragon's Crown (the beat-em-up-meets-RPG originally released four years ago) would be coming to PS4 as Dragon's Crown Pro. The Japanese release date was originally announced for January 25th, but has now been delayed two weeks to February 8th. There's still no word regarding the int...

Our Weekend In Gaming: A Crippling Source Addiction

It's a CRPG bonanza around these parts, as Divinity: Original Sin 2 has thoroughly ousted Destiny 2 as the co-op game of choice.  Given how long the original... Original Sin took to beat, I can't say I'm very surprised, nor can I pretend that I wasn't expecting this version's glowing reviews.  I'm not saying the 2017 GOTY discussion is already over, but I am saying that any serious contenders will have to let me do something more fun than be a skeleton dwarf with a heart of gold.

Two Upcoming Civilization VI Nations Get Detailed

It's always nice to see new nations get added to Civilization games.  They make the world feel just a touch larger and more varied.  They generally add fun, new strategies to both wield and plan against, as well as bringing a bit more artistic flair to the g- ah, who am I kidding?  I just like 'em cause they give me a few more targets to crush on my quest for global domination.

[UPDATED] LEGO Dimensions Coming to an End

One of my favorite couch co-op games from the past couple years has been LEGO Dimensions. My wife and I enjoyed picking up the (at times, confusing) expansion packs that added some of our favorite franchises to the title, and playing through new worlds and familiar ones with some of our favorite characters from pop culture. It appears, though, that all of that may be coming to an end.

Pacific DLC Arrives Next Week for Running with Rifles

While it's been some time since we last checked in on Running with Rifles, the devs have been continuing their support of the top-down shooter and have a new historically-themed piece of DLC dropping next week. In their most recent livestream, 343 Industries laid out a number of updates and tweaks they have in the works for Halo 5: GuardiansHalo: The Master Chief Collection, and Halo Wars 2.
