I'll be honest, I feel like Star Citizen has grown so large that it now encompasses all games. Like, that game you just played last week? It's actually part of Star Citizen. But the dev team at Cloud Imperium Games certainly has a vision and plan for their title, and they showcased some of that at Gamescom last week.

At Gamescom last week, Microsoft unveiled a new gameplay trailer for Gears of War 4 that shows off the game running in 4k. There doesn't appear to be any story spoilers in this gameplay footage, just a big beefy dude shooting big beefy creatures.

Sometimes the world needs a little bit of calmness. Lion Quest is a puzzle platformer starring Jethro (who's a lion) attempting to save the universe (which qualifies as a quest). He'll do this by solving puzzles in a stark block-filled world. By which we mean you'll solve the puzzles while Jethro sits there and looks cute and pixely.

Billed as a "massively multiplayer online third-person shooter," Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade will see full release on the PC in a month's time. The title is currently in Early Access on Steam and is listed as still being in alpha, so that's quite a jump to make.

While it has been in Early Access for a few months, Lost Castle will see a full release in just a couple weeks. The game mixes up elements from action-RPGs, beat 'em ups, and rogue-likes to create a title that, hopefully, offers up a fresh challenge each time you play it.

Everyone's favorite ninja platformer, NPLUSPLUS, is making its debut on the PC this Thursday, August 25. Now you and your friends can work together to try and overcome each of the game's 2,360 levels.

I'm not necessarily saying this weekend will be filled with rage-induced controller destruction, but given that Nick picked up a certain collection of games, it seems unavoidable.  I'm also not necessarily saying the two weddings Jason's attending will devolve into orgies of carnal pleasures after seeing thirty seconds of his "Cha Cha Slide" routine, but I'm not not saying that, either.

Activision and Infinity Ward have unveiled their plans for the co-op zombie mode in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. "Zombies in Spaceland" will pit you and up to three other friends against the undead menace in a space-themed amusement park. Oh, and the whole thing is set in the 1980s. We are go for Hasslehoff, people!

Here's some good news if you own a PlayStation 4 and were thinking of picking up LEGO Dimensions next month. If you buy the Starter Pack, which includes the portal, Batman, Gandalf, Wyldstyle, the Batmobile, and the game itself, you'll get an exclusive Supergirl figure to use in the game. For everyone else, you're out of luck.

It's been a little bit since we last heard about Tower 57. Once they secured their Kickstarter funding, it seemed like the game would be out within the following year (this year). Games development never goes quite as planned, but the good news here is that we can expect the title to be released in 2017.

Finnish developer Frozenbyte is moving away from their puzzle-platformer wheelhouse (Trine) with their next co-op title, though there appears to be a little bit of a tie-in. The Nine Parchments will follow four wizards of the Astral Academy who are attempting to circumvent the long process required to master titular scrolls in favor of a more direct approach.

Just as they did last year with the "Legendary Edition," Bungie will be releasing a special edition of Destiny that will package all of the game's content together in one neat little package. Titled "Destiny - The Collection," the set will include the forthcoming Rise of Iron DLC as well as all the base game and all previously released content.
