By this point, you're probably on either side of the fence regarding your dedication to the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare DLC cycle.  In plainer terms, you made the decision a long time ago whether or not getting yelled at by folks named "xXBongermanXx" in brand new locales is an appealing proposition.  However, for the stoic few who remain firmly on the fence, a newly added cast member to the Exo Zombies story mode may convince you one way or the other.

Last year, we looked into a talk given at GDC 2014 that focused on how games can have a social impact on teenage boys. The big idea to come out of this talk was the concept of "incentivized co-op," or co-op that directly provides benefits to both parties. A recent study out of Texas Tech has delved further into the benefits of playing a game cooperatively and gathered some interesting data to add to this equation.

It was a fairly quiet month for co-op releases, with the only notable title being Magicka 2. It's the first time the series is on a console with its PS4 releases, and so far reviews have been fairly solid. E3 is right around the corner so expect to see some big game announcements as we head into a Fall with lots of AAA co-op goodness!

Halo: The Master Chief Collection received a large patch today, fixing numerous issues with the game which has seen its shared of bugs since launch last November. You'll also find a new multiplayer map, over 100 new achievements to earn, and several tweaks for co-op players to provide a more stable experience.
