2015's motto is now "See you in 2016!"

Dead Island 2 Delayed Until 2016

2015 is tossing another one of its biggest tent pole games to it's slightly younger brother, 2016. Developer Yager announced via their Twitter page that Dead Island 2 would be delayed until sometime next year. Maybe they need to take another year of speculation on why it's called Dead Island 2, when it takes place on the continental US. That's not an island, people! That's like making a game called Dead Caverns and setting it in a dimly lit parking garage.

Temple of Elemental Evil Co-op Board Game Out Now

For many of the human sub-species known as "Grognards", the classic "Temple of Elemental Evil" module was their first opportunity to get a taste of the excitement, hilarity, and pure death that Dungeons and Dragons had to offer.  For those of us who were too young for such an opportunity, WizKids is offering a chance to revisit the horrors surrounding the village of Hommlet in their latest board game, "The Temple of Elemental Evil".

Dying Light Dev Tools Will Soon Allow For Co-op

Let's cut right to the chase.  The already existing dev tools for the PC version of Dying Light are expanding to include co-op support, among other things.  As it was scrawled on the holy PC Gaming Tablets way back in the 1990s, modding tools are the lifeblood of any game that wishes to extend its lifespan beyond the first few months.  Skyrim debacle aside, the act of allowing a game's community to expand and alter the original product typically fosters a not only rabid community, but a creative one as well.

The Crew Gets Its Final Themed DLC With The "Raid"

The "Raid" is finally coming to The Crew!  Unfortunately, this isn't a tie-in to the movie sharing the same name, a la Forza Horizon 2's "Fast & Furious", but how cool would that be?  Even if I didn't get to control them, I would pay good money to see two Indonesian dudes' gunfight eventually turn into a full bout of fisticuffs on top of my Volkswagen.

The storm gathers.

Watch Us Play Heroes of the Storm, Out June 2nd

In case you haven't caught wind of the News Thunder, Heroes of the Storm is launching for realsies June 2nd. Pretty soon, everybody can attempt to beat the summer heat by lining up to play as Jim Raynor, Kerrigan, The Actual Devil, or one of 20 million Warcraft characters in Blizzard's new, ostensibly friendlier MOBA. If June is just a bit too far away, you could always get your HoTS fix during the full-on Open Beta, kicking off May 19th. Being a Free To Play game, I'd figure pretty much everything is "Open Beta," but whatever. I'm not a marketing guy.
