D3 Publisher's recently released CUSTOM MECH WARS for PlayStation 5 and Steam is a game in which players complete simple campaign missions to find mech parts and progress the story. Teaming up with friends and showing off your custom mechs is half the fun, but multiplayer isn't available at the start. We'll tell you how to unlock co-op and how it works.

Windblown is coming to Steam Early Access next year and will feature fast-paced gameplay and online co-op. It can't come soon enough!

Vampire Survivors from Poncle is the little game that could. The $5 game continues to grow and grow, as evidenced by today's release of the Among Us-themed "Emergency Meeting" DLC. The $2.49 DLC adds a map set on an alien world, 9 playable characters, 15 weapons, and more! Naturally, the new map supports 4-player local co-op, making it a must-have all around.

Hammerwatch II, the cooperative action RPG from Modus Games, launched on Steam back in August. Console gamers deserve some pixelated RPG love too, though, and so the game has now arrived on PlayStation 5 and Switch. This highly anticipated sequel promises multiple character classes, tons of quests, a vast (and yet tiny looking) 2D world to explore, and most excitingly, 4 player online co-op.

Disney Illusion Island from Dlala Studios and Disney is a charming Switch-exclusive Metroidvania platformer that features 4-player local co-op. Japanese publisher D3 Publisher's Earth Defense Force series has always provided addictive co-op thrills. Now D3 Publisher (which has apparently been bought by Bandai Namco) has unleashed an exciting new title on PlayStation 5 and Steam called Custom Mech Wars. This one lets players design wildly inventive custom mechs and then tackle missions together in 4-player online co-op. Yeah, that sounds a lot like EDF but with even more mechs!

Back in the early days of VR (2016), Arizona Sunshine made a name for itself as an exciting zombie shooter. This month, Vertigo Games finally released Arizona Sunshine 2 on Meta Quest, PlayStation VR2, and Steam VR. Roguelike shooters come in many shapes and sizes. The recently announced Atomic Picnic from Brazilian developer BitCake Studio and Mad Mushroom utilizes a Splatoon-like third-person perspective and some genuinely look-looking characters. Up to four online players will get to team up and blast away at waves of enemies in colorful environments. Things are still early, but it looks like a fun, frenetic, and challenging game, and it will be coming to Steam Early Access in the spring.
