Code Hero is a Co-Op Game for Learning Game Development

A lot of gamers dream about the day they can create their own game.  They are simply brimming with ideas for the next form of interactive entertainment, but the technical hurdle of actually programming can seem insurmountable.  A new game by Primer Labs aims to change that by combining the act of gaming with the art of programming; it's called Code Hero.

New Mass Effect 3 Trailer Urges You to Take Back Earth

The CGI trailer has been one of the basic gaming PR tools for years. They may not contain any real game footage, but they sure can increase the heat on a property. Mass Effect 3 has seen plenty of in game trailers and even has a demo that you can try out; but a new CGI trailer full of epic goodness is still needed. Bioware have answered these calls in the new Take Earth Back trailer and it is immense.

Age of Empires Online Premium DLC Prices Permanently Dropped

Age of Empires Online is a freemium multiplayer RTS game. While the game is free to download and play, access to additional empires and content requires the purchase of various expansions. Now the prices of said premium content have been cut in half, making it much easier to experience everything AOE Online has to offer (and get most of the game's Achievements). Additionally, the duration of Season Passes has been extended a full year to August 15, 2013 to make up for the new pricing structure.

PC is "outside the area of expertise"

Transformers: Fall of Cybertron Not Coming to PC

Bad news (again), PC gamers. Transformers: Fall of Cybertron won't be coming to that fancy keyboard-and-mouse console known as the Personal Computer. I suppose we shouldn't be surprised, since last fall we heard that the next Transformers game would be dropping the co-op campaign.  Nevertheless, it's still disappointing to continually see PC gamers being left on the side of the road, and in this case the reasons are also alarming.
