David Fincher helms the launch trailer for the game

Halo 4 Video Explosion - Forward Unto Dawn Episode 1, Terminal Trailer, Launch Trailer Details

Did you know there's a new Halo game out this Fall?  Halo 4 launches on November 6th and the hype train for this one has been surprisingly quiet.  Or rather, I think we missed a lot of this stuff because we were too busy playing Borderlands 2.  That said,  there's a ton of video content promoting Microsoft's blockbuster out now and there's some more content on the way.

Rich Knuckles Does His Thing In This Serious Sam 3: BFE Spot

Serious Sam 3: BFE has a solid release date for the Xbox Live Arcade. It will be hitting the digital storefront on October 17th. As we reported earlier this week, the game will be sold in two parts. Sam is just too damn big for the XBLA file size limit. The single player and cooperative campaign will make up one digital package, the multiplayer modes and new "Jewel of the Nile" DLC will make up the second. Each will cost 1200 MSP ($15).

Ghost Recon Future Soldier Khyber Strike Launch Video

A nice variety of new games and add-on content dropped yesterday. But what about the tried and true military shooter fans? No worries, there's something for you, too. Ghost Recon Future Soldier's "Khyber Strike" DLC hit the Xbox 360 yesterday, and should be live on the PlayStation 3 today. This is the third piece of DLC for the third-person gadget shooter. While not as co-op friendly as "Raven Strike," it includes a little something for everyone.

Team Fortress 2's Mann vs Machine Co-Op Mode Adds Content, Improvements

It seems so long ago that we got that surprise free update for Team Fortress 2, one in which added the Mann vs Machine co-op mode for 6 players.  In reality, it has only been two months.  One complaint we had with the mode was that it was pretty friggin hard, combined with some match making difficulties, it didn't quite catch on with us as much as we thought it should.   A new update for the game directly addresses both issues and adds new content to boot.

New outfits, too!

Four New Animals Come to Tokyo Jungle

Is your Tokyo Jungle roster missing something? If you've been playing the quirky little brawler/survival game you've probably noticed the five locked animals toward the bottom of the character select screen. (Okay, there are many, many locked animals when your first start the game, but five of the animals are trapped behind red colored locks.) The Giraffe, Crocodile, Panda, Kangaroo, and Sabertooth have been taunting me for two weeks. Today, four of these five creatures are available for purchase from the PlayStation Store.

Roccat Savu Mouse Impressions

Nick hit me up the other day about reviewing a new gaming mouse, the Roccat Savu. I asked him if he was sure, because new tech and I don't get along very well. He said he knew I could handle it, so I grudgingly complied. My inner monolog was already scolding me: "Oh no, free stuff. And you have to play with it. What a bummer. Truly you live a horrible life." I got my hands on the mouse and then I got my game on.

Miner Wars 2081 Hits Beta, 4 Player Co-Op Video Showcased

Miner Wars 2081 has finally hit its beta phase after extensive alpha and pre-alpha testing from the community.  The game is now being balanced and tweaked, getting ready for release sometime later this year on PC.  Miner Wars 2081 features both single player and co-op gameplay as well as some versus elements in a six degrees of freedom type game - think classic PC game series Descent.  The team has a Greenlight Page up to try to get Miner Wars 2081 onto Valve's Steam service.
