Preorder Steel Battallion: Heavy Armor to Get Unique Mech Armors

Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor, the Kinect-exclusive followup to Capcom's classic mech simulator, won't be released until June. But gamers now have some incentive to order it straight away, thanks to three retailer-specific preorder bonuses. Amazon, Best Buy, and GameStop are all offering unique armor sets with which to deck out your mechs. Capcom has even gone the extra mile to aid players in their purchasing decisions, creating trailers for each armor and explaining their functions.

Toy Soldiers: Cold War Launches Two Pieces of DLC and a PC Version

The folks at Signal Studios are releasing not one, but two DLC packs for the action/tower defense game Toy Soldiers: Cold War.  It's a game we scored quite well calling it an "absolute blast" as we played through almost the entire campaign in a 5 hour couch co-op session.  Now after a long wait since the last DLC, we're finally getting some new content to dig our little plastic soldiers into.

A new infographic highlights Natan Drake's adventures

A Chart that Charts the Uncharted Franchise

There is something quite Stat-tacular when a game series reaches a certain maturity.  The Halo franchise recently created an infographic showing how many times the game has been played over the years and now it is the turn of the Uncharted series.  The franchise has been co-op since the second game and with over 15 million games sold, let’s hope for more.  Check out the gallery for the full size image and bask in the history of Nathan Drake and the fact you have all been playing the games for more than 2500 years.

Streets of Rock, anyone?

More Charlie Murder Screens Escape, but the Brawl-PG Still a Long Way Off

Details are still scarce about Ska Studios' upcoming Xbox Live Arcade exclusive, Charlie Murder. We know it's a four player beat-em-up with RPG elements, which creator James Silva has coined as a brawl-PG. I'm fond of RPG-eat-em-up, myself. Anyway, the game revolves around the members of a band called Charlie Murder setting out to stop the evil band Gore Quaffer and its monstrous minions from doing bad things. That's still a bit vague, but three new screenshots (plus a brief video from PAX East) give us a better idea of what to expect.

Serious Sam 3: BFE Explodes onto Mac, Steam Sale

Serious Sam 3: BFE is now available for Mac users. 16 players can fill the screen as you battle screaming, headless, kamikaze warriors and other bizarre alien beasts. Yup. That's 16 player online co-op. You can even play locally via four player split screen co-op. The Serious Sam franchise may not be fancy, but it gets the job done. It's a can't miss if you're into old-school first person shooters. I even got it running on my stock laptop, so you know the system requirements won't beat down your machine. It earned a 4 out of 5 in our Co-Op Review.
