Dungeon Defenders Awakened Hits PC on May 28th

Dungeon Defenders II was out back in 2017 and received mixed reviews. The game's original formula had changed slightly and not everyone was on board. But the series is back and reviews of the early access game have pointed out it's more like the original than ever. Dungeon Defenders Awakened is slated to bring together four heroes as they protect their dungeons crystal from wave after wave of baddie.

Our Weekend In Gaming: Wait, what?

Let's be real with each other.  I'm not positive what time of day it is right now, and I'm definitely not sure if it's Friday.  The Co-Opticrew seems to be responding to my investigatory "Weekend in Gaming" email positively, though, so I'll take that as a sign that I'm in the right half of the week, at least.  As time continues to blur and meld into one interminable day, I'll try to keep things straight with our weekly(?) get-togethers.

Marseille DLC Out Now For World War Z

With folks around the world stuck indoors, it's only natural that the average person would spend a substantial amount of their waking hours daydreaming about travel.  While we can't quite visit many places in person right now, Saber Interactive is offering a chance to digitally explore one specific locale at your leisure, assuming you don't mind the slightly more aggressive populace.

Streets of Rage 4 Combo Co-Op Trick

Combo Co-Op, if you didn't know, is the ability to mix a co-op game with both local and online players at the same time. It's one of the only features Streets of Rage 4 doesn't support out of the box. Thanks to Twitter user @SolKeizer26 though - we've found a workaround to at least get 3 players going in remote play on PS4.

1.4 Update: “Journey’s End” Arrives On PC May 16th, 2020.

Terraria Set To Receive Latest Major Update

Few games have captured the creative and adventurous hearts of gamers like the crafting and combat heavy Terraria. The title has managed to keep its longevity over the years with a steady stream of updates ever since its initial PC release back in 2011. However, it appears the newest update, “Journey’s End,” will possibly be one of the final (development) chapters in the long running saga that is Terraria.

Our Weekend In Gaming: As The World Turns

Gears are turning around the world as folks create plans for re-emergence, but Co-Optimus HQ is still buckled down for the foreseeable future.  That's not the worst situation, though, as there are plenty of new games to sink our pale, sterile claws into.  Maybe when summer rolls around, we'll start looking wistfully out our windows again, but for now, things are golden.
