EA has just announced that Klei's upcoming downloadable game, Shank 2, will be available on PlayStation Network and PC on February 7th and on Xbox Live Arcade on February 8th. The hand drawn beat em up is a sequel to last year's Shank, a game which featured a two player co-op story mode. For Shank 2, Klei has gone back to the drawing board, and created a brand new survival co-op mode.
There is an almighty battle going on in the gaming industry between those developers that want to call their game Zombie something and those that choose Dungeon something. With the announcement of Dungeon Fighter LIVE: Fall of Hendon Myre, developer Neople are striking a blow for the side of the Dungeons. Co-Optimus does not care much for a name, as long as the game has co-op; Dungeon Fighter LIVE has been announced with 4 player local and online co-op. Joy!

Resident Evil 6 has been announced, and as we had hoped, the game will support cooperative play. None of the co-op details have been released, but we expect a minimum of two player local and online co-op, which was readily available in Resident Evil 5. The PlayStation Network's exclusive RTS, Under Siege, has received some co-op love. Cooperative maps will now be available from the start of the game. Also, the difficulty has been scaled down to make the game more accessible to new players. You can see a full list of the additions and improvements after the break.

It wasn't long ago we told you about the live action casting call for a Lilith for Borderlands 2. Gearbox was looking for a leading lady to fill Lilith's virtual shoes in the real world and they've already found their match in a beautiful Australian woman named Yasemin Arslan. What's a bit odd about the casting call is, Lilith serves as a secondary character in Borderlands 2, as the siren isn't actually playable in the game.
6 million is a lot of levels. Imagine starting up the new Mario game, only to find you have 6 million more levels to play! The chances are you would have to pass the game on to your decedents to complete. Sounds like complete fancy doesn't it? Not for the LittleBigPlanet franchise which has just hit 6 million user made levels - and not all of them are rubbish people post up for a trophy.

Highly customizable, turbo charged war machines do battle in a new team-based mission structure. The new system is a departure from the game's old play style, focusing more on tactics than run-and-gun gameplay.
Back in October of 2010, Doom was pulled from the XBLA due to licensing issues. The title is a grandfather of the modern first person shooter, and it should be experienced by, well, everyone. It's been over a year since the game was pulled from the Arcade library, but today marks its triumphant return.
Crap. This is very disappointing. The new Dead Island DLC, "Ryder White's Campaign," will be a single-player-only affair. The new add-on will allow you to experience the zombie disaster of Banoi as, you guessed it, Ryder White. If you haven't finished the game, you may not know too much about Colonel White. Let's just say he's another survivor of the undead outbreak and he's trying to help the four survivors from the game's main story line.
