Resistance 3 Patched with Co-Op Fixes as Website Hacked

Resistance 3 has been patched to version 1.05, which means the next time you fire up the game you'll be waiting for yet another download on your PS3.  Still, with the patch comes several fixes for all aspects of the game including single player, multiplayer and of course co-op.  The biggest fix is to one that could potentially spoil campaign progression for a guest player in co-op.

The Serious Sam 3: BFE 'Blood and Gore' Trailer is Awesome in So Many Ways

The latest Serious Sam 3: BFE video is not messing around.  Croteam knows that Sam fans want blood and guts, and this trailer gives it to us by the truckload.  There's so much juice flying around I'm beginning to wonder if the bad guys even have bones, or if they're just animated ziploc bags brimming over with red sauce.  Seriously, there's a crap ton of blood in this video.  Sam truly is the Jackson Pollock of bloodletting.  Keep a keen eye out as your senses are assaulted by death metal and gore and you may just see a quote from your favorite co-op gaming site.

Saint Row: The Third Launch Trailer Loud, Obnoxious, and NSFW

Have you still not picked up Saints Row: The Third?  Are you allergic to awesome?  I know, I know.  A lot of killer games came out recently.  When you get sick of playing "soldier" with children, or finally get tired of roaming a mostly empty, buggy mess while screaming dragon gibberish like a demented crazy person, strap on a man's game and let your freak flag fly.

Brink To Get Clan and Tournament Support

Hey guys, remember Brink?  I sure do.  It's a heck of a squad shooter, when it's working properly.  It's been six months since the game's release and most of the bugs have been ironed out.  Splash Damage is moving forward with more multiplayer support.  A new title update will include clans, tournaments, and a global rankings ladder.  Most of these added features apply to the multiplayer versus mode, but I'm sure you and your buddies could form a clan and still play co-op matches.

Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary Co-Op Review

Halo: Combat Evolved was the game that sold the Xbox. Ten years have gone by and Halo has made its mark on console gaming by becoming an absolute juggernaut in the market and a series worth billions of dollars. So it should come as no surprise that the game that started it all has already been remade in Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary. We dive into the remastered game, its co-op and multiplayer, and come out with only a few plasma burns to show.

The PSN title Sideway: New York is now available on PC via Steam

Sideway: New York Scuttles Onto PC

Sideway: New York hit the Playstation Network last month with a decent 3 out of 5 overall score, but a disappointing 2 out of 5 for the co-op. It appears that one of the best tactics for co-op success was for the better player to just keep moving forwards; player two was forced along anyway! If the thought of dragging your co-op partner around appeals to you as a PC player, then here is the good news. Sideway: New York is now available via Steam.

Happy 10th Birthday Xbox! What's Your Favorite Co-Op Game?

Ten years ago today Microsoft changed the console war from a battle between two, to a battle between three.  The Xbox, a big black box loaded with a "duke" controller became a staple of hardcore gamers.  It contained a hard drive and a network connection, and it was the beginning of a big change for consoles.  The system saw many great co-op games over it's life span, though none may be more iconic than the one it launched with in Halo.
