Final Two Dungeon Defenders Dev Diaries Prep Gamers for Launch

If we can trust the guy who does the weekly Co-Op Release Alerts, it would be safe to assume that Dungeon Defenders will launch tomorrow, October 19th, on the XBLA, PSN, and PC.  Today we bring you the final two developer diaries which will focus on RPG mechanics and game modes.  Trendy Entertainment packed a heck of a lot of game into a $15 dollar package.  There are numerous customization options and multiple game modes that will keep players busy for a very long time.  Did I see a Portal Gun?  Sweet!

Jet Grind...Mario? No, that's not right...

Sideway: New York Co-Op Review

I hadn't heard of Sideway: New York until very recently. It's one of those stealth titles that sneaks in with a fairly low profile, but when I read up on the premise, I got excited. A crazy platformer where you're always stuck to the surface of the platform? Nice! A graffiti theme? Double nice! I loved Jet Grind Radio! How does it actually hold up? Let's find out.

Care Package Inbound - SOCOM 4 Co-Op DLC Priced, Dated

The Demolition pack for SOCOM 4: U.S. Navy SEALs drops this week, which should make some veteran SOCOM players pretty happy - it adds quite possibly the most popular team-based mode from the classic multiplayer days to SOCOM 4. Along with the announcement, however, comes news that another pack will arrive on November 1st that adds exclusively co-op content.

New Videos for Saints Row: The Third Target Battlefield 3 and Real Life

The latest trailer from Saints Row: The Third aims it's sights squarely on Battlefield 3.  It seems that there will be plenty of military action in Steelport.  I almost didn't recognize the game in the trailer as Saints Row: The Third, since there's limited mascot use and only one nut shot.  There are plenty of guns, bombs, rockets, tanks, and explosions.  The title of the video is "Shock and Awesome," because why the hell not?  Not Saints Row-y enough for you?  Then check out the second video. It's a pseudo-live action TV spot.  That's what I'm talking about!

Halo Anniversary Achievements and Kinect Details Revealed

Yelling "ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCK" at your Kinect sadly won't unlock achievements for you in Halo Combat Evolved: Anniversary, but it will allow you to chuck a grenade.  Well, you have to say "grenade" for you to throw a grenade.  Other voice commands include the ability to reload or switch between the HD and Classic graphic options.  Sadly it seems my dreams of turning you into an in-game Cortana are not realized with the power of Kinect.

Dance Central 2 Demo Arrives at the Party

Can’t wait for Harmonix's Kinect-driven Dance Central 2 to launch on October 25? You’re in luck, as the game’s demo is now available on Xbox Live. It’s available exclusively to Xbox Live Gold members for now, with Silver members getting access next week. Clocking in at 1.31 Gigabytes, the demo is quite a large download, but it offers a good look at some of the game’s new and improved multiplayer modes, including two-player local co-op.
