White Knight Chronicles is getting a sequel in North America, but it won't be coming as a Sony published title. Instead D3 Publisher, who recently published God Eater Burst and the upcoming Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon, will be handling the publishing duties of White Knight Chronicles 2.
We brought you news of Naruto Shippuden: Kizuna Drive for PSP a few months ago. The Playstation Portable title was released late last month. In addition to a story mode consisting of more than a dozen missions, the team-based action/fighter lets you and three friends partner up via Ad Hoc co-op in Free Mission Mode. Special combo moves that require more than one player to activate are included, as well as bonus missions for die-hard fans to unlock cool stuff from the show. You’d think after six main series entries and several spinoffs to the Dynasty Warriors series, Koei would grant us our PhDs in Asian History with a focus on the Later Han Dynasty, but alas, they’ve decided we need one more refresher course and thus, we have Dynasty Warriors 7.
Majesco's Blood Rayne franchise is being resurrected as a downloadable title. The company has recently announced Blood Rayne: Betrayal, which will be a 2D platformer, according to Eurogamer.net. This will be change from what was a third-person action game filled with over-the-top gore and innuendo. According to the press release, "Rayne teams up with a mysterious new friend to stop an evil vampire massacre." Does this mean co-op play? Hopefully. You can check out a new teaser trailer after the break. Warning! The trailer won't reveal much of anything. Blood Rayne: Betrayal will release on the XBLA and PSN later this summer.

Disney Interactive is tying in a Phineas and Ferb game with the upcoming Disney Channel original movie, Phineas and Ferb: Across the Second Dimension. The game will support two players locally for Nintendo Wii and PlayStation 3, and includes the option to use the PlayStation Move. All 25 campaign levels will be playable in co-op when the game ships Summer 2011.
We just got official word from Bethesda that Brink, the 8 player co-op shooter for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC, will be releasing one week earlier than originally planned. That means gamers can get their hands on the game on May 10th in North America and May 13th in Europe. Originally the game was slated to be released on May 17th in North America and May 20th in Europe.
