Yesterday, Naughty Dog shutdown the multiplayer servers for Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception (along with the multiplayer servers for The Last of Us). The announcement was made last June via a blog posting on Naughty Dog's website, and the fated day has come and gone, leaving all our co-op adventures in the digital dust.
The bizarre, cooperative twin-stick shooter, TwinCop, will be making its way to the Xbox One next month. Finite Reflection Studios' "most cooperative game, EVER" will arrive on October 11th on Microsoft's console, and there's an update planned for both that version and the PC Steam version at some point.
Preceded by the brief (but very interesting) We Were Here and its more substantial follow-up, We Were Here Too, the aptly named We Were Here Together is serving up even more delicious walkie-talkie content later this year.
The forthcoming Tools Up! from The Knights Of Unity received a new trailer during this year’s Gamescom. The video, which can be found below, explores something that has been lacking from video games as a whole up until now: how hard it is to move furniture through a small apartment with your friends.
Ubisoft’s upcoming Watch Dogs: Legion released a new trailer during this year’s Gamescom in which they expanded upon their “play as anyone” mechanic. The video (available below) explains how the characters throughout the world will change the gameplay as different people will have different abilities or skills, meaning the player will be able to pick recruits that compliment their playstyle. Furthermore, certain recruitable people may have inhibitors, meaning players may also need to be wary of the setbacks their recruits carry.
In case you have not been playing Fallout 76 in recent weeks, or if you are a console player, Fallout 76 has received its first vault-themed raid in the most recent patch for PC players. This raid allows a team of up to four players to work together to clear out Vault 94, which was home to a plant-based people who were supposed to bring seeds back into the post-apocalyptic world before something went awry (as things in Fallout seem to do). The raid is set for players level 50 and is currently only available for PC, with developer Bethesda using this time to try and iron out any possible bumps before pushing the update to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
The hordes of generically named bad guys we're no match for these three middle aged dads. Mike, Nick, and Locke dove into Capcom's 1991 classic arcade game, Knights of the Round as part of the Capcom Beat Em' Up Bundle and took our quarters from start to finish.
During this year's San Diego Comic Con, Nintendo revealed that Colossus and Cyclops would be added to the playable roster of characters in MARVEL ULTIMATE ALLIANCE 3: The Black Order in a future update for free. That update is here and available, and you can indeed get both Colossus and Cyclops, but there's a little bit of a catch: you have to unlock them via two different Infinity Rift challenges.

A Hat in Time has a release date for the Nintendo Switch: October 18th, 2019. This solid date replaces the previously announced time frame of “soon” that was touted during 2018’s GamesCom. Since then, it has been radio silence from developer Gears For Breakfast, so fans are undoubtedly heaving a sigh of relief now that an end is in sight.
