That's right, we've got codes for all five of the Founders' Packs (North America only, I'm afraid) that are available for sale on PSN for Marvel Heroes Omega, and we'll be giving all of those codes to one lucky person. That's about $200 worth of stuff and whoever wins will be getting all of this:

There are a total of 10 codes to give away and you can enter once a day to try and win one until all the codes are gone, or until the contest ends at 11:59 PM EDT on Friday, May 5, 2017. These codes are only good for the North America version (sorry EU) on the PlayStation 4. Unlike the Founder's Pack codes that unlock some heroes and give you some of the premium currency, these codes will just get you access to the closed beta itself. No bonuses. That being said, you'll be given enough Eternity Splinters (the in-game currency used to purchase heroes) to buy a hero or two once you clear out the initial tutorial.

I bought into the closed beta so I could check it out over the weekend. Coming from the PC version, it's rather interesting to see what's different. The game as a whole feels more streamlined, which I suppose is to be expected as Gaz is focusing on the "core" elements of the title for now. I've yet to level a character to 60 to see what the end game content is like, but with only one patrol zone and no weekly in-game events yet, I don't expect there to be very much for now. There are a lot of little changes from the PC to console, such as changing up hero synergies and the bonuses certain gear grants you, but none of that is necessarily a bad thing. In fact, some changes, such as the in-game currencies being reduced to just three (one for buying heroes, one for buying items from vendors, and one that only becomes available at 60 for buying special items), means that the title is easier to approach for newcomers.

The game will be making its way over to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One sometime this year, though it will not have quite the same number of features as its PC cousins. Instead of the current roster of 62 playable heroes, Marvel Heroes Omega will only have 38. The story will only span chapters one through nine (PC goes to 10), there will be only one challenge/patrol area (Midtown), the (somewhat) recently added Danger Room will be available, but neither of the two raids will be part of the title at launch.
