While Steam traditionally has had weekend deals on any of the games on its service, Valve seems to have decided that it hasn't sucked enough money out of our wallets. Starting today the service will offer Daily Deals on its PC download service. You can always check the Steam front page or follow them on Twitter or Facebook to get the deal as soon as it goes live.

If you need a tactical shooter fix this weekend, then look no further than Operation Flashpoint 2: Dragon Rising. The game is discounted 75% this weekend, down from $29.99 to $7.49. This'll get you some sweet four player co-op action on top of some really pretty graphics. You can check out our review of the game, but I think you'll be hard pressed to turn down a low price for the title.

Operation Flashpoint 2 Patched on PC, Overwatch DLC Included Free

Codemasters has just released patch version 1.02 for the four player co-op Operation Flashpoint 2: Dragon Rising on PC. The patch includes a host of bug fixes and tweaks, but more importantly, it includes the Overwatch DLC content.

Operation Flashpoint 2 Overwatch DLC Released

The first content pack for Operation Flashpoint 2 has been released. Dubbed Overwatch, the content pack adds two new multiplayer modes and two new co-op missions.

Operation Flashpoint 2 Co-Op Demo Now Available on PC

Codemasters has released a co-op capable demo of Operation Flashpoint 2: Dragon Rising on the PC today. The demo takes place in the game's first mission, Dragon Rising, where you are inserted behind enemy lines and must destroy a radar station and SAM site. The demo supports up to four players in co-op mode.

Operation Flashpoint 2 Skirmish Mode DLC Announced, Title Update Too

Codemasters has made good on their promise, and officially announced the first content pack for Operation Flashpoint 2: Dragon Rising. The pack is called the Skirmish pack and features two new cooperative missions for four players as well as four new maps for competitive play. There's also a new sandbox mode called Island Tour which can be played cooperatively.

Operation Flashpoint 2 DLC and Title Updates Planned

In our review of Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising this week, we made mention of some glitches and the lack of weapon customization, and also the scarcity of multiplayer maps (only two maps per each of two modes).
