Ugh.  Just, ugh.  You have one week, Co-Opticrew.  Get it together.

Our Weekend In Gaming: Mega MenEnoch Starnes

It'll be a bit tougher to predict how things will go for the rest of the Co-opticrew.  Will World of Warcraft be good again?  Are Eric's sniper skillz actually "1337", or are they merely "sick"?  If Locke screams "I'm the Yahtzee King" in the woods, and all his friends and family are around to hear it, does he truly obtain the status of tabletop royalty?  Who's to say?  How about you take a look and determine that for yourselves.

Though inflatable, the Sumo Air doesn't require any kind of pump - it's actually two open ended, inflatable bladders stitched together. Initially, it took some time for me to figure out the best way to inflate it. If you're indoors, you'll probably want to have access to some kind of fan. Believe me, I tried without one and nearly destroyed my living room. Once you get air in one of the bladders, you close it up, fill the other side, then roll the ends together until the Air is nice and firm, then buckle them shut. Figuring out how to best fill the thing has a bit of a learning curve, but once you've figured out what works best for you, it only takes a minute or so to do.

As the end of the summer starts to roll around, large content launches and expansion announcements start to gear up for MMOs, just as we see this August. This month for MMO Co-Opportunities we take a look at Living World Season 3 starting up for Guild Wars 2, a large content-focused DLC and update hitting Elder Scrolls Online, and a major expansion...

Well, maybe that's not entirely true.  I suppose a few ancient desires may linger.  For example, between sessions of Sid Meier's latest time-destroyer, I'll probably return to playing Dark Souls 3 and wondering what cruel god would curse me with such an agonizing quest.  I also suspect that more than a few of the Co-Opticrew will be unable to resist the urge to return to Overwatch and inevitably get massacred by Bastion.

Things aren't all bad, though, as we've got a whole slew of games lined up to close out another blisteringly hot summer month.  With any luck, our button presses and mouse clicks will match the arcane sequence necessary to complete the annual Heat-B-Gone ritual.  Otherwise, well, I suppose we'll all have to get used to our skin melting away for a few more weeks.

It's unclear at this point if either game will feature co-op as many of their previous titles have. The trailer for Project Sonic features the line "but even heroes need help" before an updated version of the "classic" Sonic appeared to team up with the "modern" Sonic. Sonic Mania is an interesting "remastered vision" of the original Sega classics and features three playable characters - Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles - but it made no mention of whether it would support co-op.

Amazon already has the deal available, with numerous bundles cut in price. Not only will you get the console for the $249.99, but in most cases you'll be getting at least one game. Even the 1TB Division bundle is only $299.99 - getting you double the storage plus a copy of the game for the old "regular" price of the console.

Interestingly, over the coming weeks you'll get to watch us (meaning me) transition from, "It's far too hot to be outside, let's play video games instead" to, "It's far too cold to be outside, let's play video games instead".  I also suspect there to be an occasional, "Wow, it sure is nice outside.  Anyway, who's up for some video games?"

As co-op disciples, though, we're contractually obligated to mention that you should maybe balance all those hostile gym takeovers with a bit of togetherness.  I always find that surviving a few rounds of Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes really brings people closer.
