The Multiplayer/Co-Op Servers for Uncharted 2 and 3 Are No More

After the huge success of the first Uncharted, we all wondered what Naughty Dog would do for the sequel. Not only did they ramp up the story and action, but they gave us co-op lovers something to be happy about: a dedicated co-op mode. They then tweaked and refined that for the third (and fourth) game, so it's a little sad to see these games return to being single-player only affairs. Oh well, so it goes in this digital age. It's worth noting that even though the servers for Uncharted 2 and 3 are done, it doesn't affect the servers for Uncharted 4: A Thief's End.

Uncharted DLC Sale This Weekend Only

Running through Monday, July 29th noon PDT, Naughty Dog is having a flash sale on tons of co-op and multiplayer DLC. Players will be able to snag the Co-op Adventure Add-on for $7.99 (normally $11.99) and the Co-op Arena Add-on for $5.99 (normally $9.99). Here's a full breakdown of the DLC on sale this weekend:

More Maps available for Uncharted 3, New Co-Op Mode Announced Too

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception is getting a new map pack today called the Flashback Map Pack #2. While this content update won't contain any new co-op modes like the last DLC, it will contain a bunch of remastered maps from Uncharted 2 playable in both competitive and co-op survival gameplay. The maps - Plaza, Temple, Train Wreck, and Village - have all-new dynamic lighting effects, innovative particle effects and tons of other fresh technical polish thanks to the Uncharted 3 engine.

Out today on PSN is a brand new piece of content for Uncharted 3. It's called "Fort Co-Op Adventure" and is a unique departure from the other co-op scenarios available on the Uncharted 3 disc - namely - you play as the villains.
