This latest entry into the Wolfenstein franchise should set every co-op fan's heart aflutter, as it focuses on two player online co-op throughout every facet of the game.  Each player will control one of the Blazkowicz girls as they get to Nazi-slayin', and let me tell you, there are lots of Nazis to slay.  Take a look at all the ways you'll be doing so in the release trailer, below:

Since that reveal, details about the game have been rather sparse. While Bethesda is still being a little tight-lipped, a recent blog post shed some more light on the title and a pretty cool feature with the "Deluxe Edition." First up, there will be a couple new RPG elements (abilities, weapon attachments, and gadgets) in Youngblood, which sounds like an extension/refinement of the mechanics found in New Order and New Colossus. There wasn't much else beyond that, unfortunately.

The game is set 19 years after the events of Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus and focuses on B.J. Blazkowicz's twin daughters who are fighting their way through Paris in the 1980s in order to rescue their dad. This was setup as a kind of stand-alone title, similar to Wolfenstein: The Old Blood, and not a DLC for New Colossus or the third entry in the recent Wolfenstein series. Outside of a little bit of background and the announcement of the title, not a lot of details were provided. For now, we're marking the game as two player online campaign co-op until we hear more from MachineGames.
