For gamers, VR will lift the experience by uniting them together in parallel worlds. As well as being able to exist in the same virtual space, the new VR will project gamers’ real world images into the very space they occupy. This means that while your friend may be in Japan while you’re in America, you can meet, see and hear one another’s presence in the same space. It’s incredible stuff and the power of co-op VR doesn’t stop there. Let’s take a closer look at a few of the areas where VR and the co-op experience are going to alter how we live and interact forever.

Given current trends, I also suspect that the Co-Opticrew will be entirely tabletop focused by 2018.  Between the meta-CCGs (collectible card games), the RPGs (role-playing games), and the CFGs (Cthulhu fhtagn games), our surfaces of choice will be getting quite the workout.

Those of us not trapped in Lovecraftian nightmares are spending our time watching Remedy's fake television shows, cleaning up the streets of New York, and making author appearances!  That's right, when we're not devoting our every waking moment to you co-op enthusiasts, some of us spend our slivers of free time writing fancy shmancy readin' books.  Who would've thought?

That's right, we're moving away from those old and ratty co-op games and digging up our old and ratty Atari Jaguars in the hopes of becoming the hottest spot on the web for Jaguar and Jaguar-adjacent news.  Starting as early as next week, you can start digging into Mike Katsufrakis' thinkpiece on White Men Can't Jump, its legacy, and its influence on modern gaming tropes.  Begging for more?  Well don't miss Jason Love's "Jagu-ana and the Zool 2 Interview", in which Jason gets down and dirty with hotshot developers, Gremlin Graphics, on just how Zool 2 became the best-selling game of our lifetimes.
