This Week in Co-Op: Age of BootyJuly 15th, 2009 at 11:18 AM by Jason "OrigamiPanther" Love

Arrrr, avast ye scabrous scallywags!  With the recent release of the Tales of Monkey Island game, and the upcoming release (as of the time of this writing) Secret of Monkey Island Special Edition, I was in a very pirate-y mood this weekend.  So I decided to play the only (dyarrrr, that takes the wind out o’ me sails) co-op pirate game out there, Certain Affinity’s Age of Booty.  With a few fellow lubbers in tow, we set sail in the hopes to pillage some villages, sink a few ships, and fill our holds with pieces of eight.

Age of Booty Sets Sail on PC, Demo and Trophies on PS3March 07th, 2009 at 2:11 PM by Nicholas "bapenguin" Puleo

The Age of Booty just got more bootylicious.  Ok, I promise I'm not going to overuse the word booty in this post.

Capcom has announced that Certain Affinities co-op friendly strategy game, Age of Booty, has gone live on the PC and is available from the official Capcom online store.  Age of Booty has players teaming up together against AI opponents to raid, pillage and plunder different ports in epic ship to ship battles.  This four player co-op title on the the PC will cost you $9.99 - not too much booty.

On the PlayStation 3 side of things, the game now has a demo available on the PlayStation store.  This is good if you aren't sure if you want the booty - and really - who doesn't want booty?  The PS3 version also got a recent patch that gives the game trophy support.  Trophy booty.

Hopefully I didn't use the word booty too much.

Age of Booty Gets More BootyFebruary 03rd, 2009 at 10:10 AM by Nicholas "bapenguin" Puleo

You know what's better than booty?  More booty.  Bountiful amounts of booty.  And in the Age of Booty, booty was plenty.  But now we have more booty than the Age of Booty can handle.

IGN has the word that Xbox 360 owners of the game will be getting a patch soon which provides avatar support in the game.  I just hope upon winning a co-op match you can have your avatar do a little dance and shake his or her booty.  Bootylicious.

For PlayStation 3 owners the patch adds an equal amount of booty in the form of Trophies.  While the trophies won't quite look as good as the booty above, they'll be bootiful in their own right.

All this booty coincides with the PC release of the game - which is just a few days away.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled internet news feed....booty.

Co-Op Release Alert: Age of BootyOctober 15th, 2008 at 5:51 PM by Marc "DjinniMan" Allie

International Talk Like A Pirate Day was last month, but it's not too late to celebrate.  This week, another pirate game (about pirates, not pirated, matey!) hits Xbox Live Arcade.  Age of Booty is today's co-op release.  Up to four scurvy dogs can play locally, and a full fleet of eight "Cap'n Colorbeard" types can play together online.  The co-op is said to be squad based, but still, that's better'n walkin' the plank, eh?  Each villainous captain will control but one vessel, making good strategy more valuable than a handful of Spanish dubloons.  The game's rated "E", so I guess the booty must be of the monetary varrrrriety, morrrrr'es the pity!  If you do download this title, keep an eye out for green clad flying boys, ya heaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr?!

I never talk when I play online on COD. No one really says anything worth listening to, or no one talks whatsoever.
