Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles Interactive Trailer, Co-Op Release AlertNovember 16th, 2009 at 3:26 PM by Katrina "ShadokatRegn" Pawlowski

"Did you see that thing come out of the video?" "Yea...I did..." "Okay, just making sure."

Resident Evil: Dark Side Chronicles hits the Wii November 17th. To celebrate this co-op release, Gametrailers.com has released this amazing (and we mean amazing) trailer which we would like to share with you. This trailer covers the basic storyline, as well as a taste of the on-rails gameplay...only, you use your mouse instead of your Wii-remote.

Interactive in the way that we can't embed, you'll click-to-kill zombies, experience screen-shattering hits, and have more fun than would otherwise be expected from an online trailer. Check out the interactive trailer today, then join us for some co-op on the Wii starting tomorrow.

Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles Trailer Showcases the GoodsNovember 05th, 2009 at 1:28 PM by Nicholas "bapenguin" Puleo

How did they get the camera in there?

Capcom has released a brand new trailer for Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles, the on rails shooter for the Wii which wraps up the missing pieces from Umbrella Chronicles.  The trailer showcases new environments, new characters, and some sticky situations for our cast of characters.

The game looks like a solid co-op experience on the Wii, we just hope it doesn't fall into the trap that appears to have happened for Dead Space Extraction, which is a similar style mature title on the platform.  Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles hits the Wii on November 17th with two player local co-op.

New Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles ScreenshotsJuly 03rd, 2009 at 8:52 AM by Nicholas "bapenguin" Puleo

Capcom has released a fresh hot and steaming batch of screenshots for their upcoming two player co-op on rails shooter, Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles.  The game was announced back when Resident Evil 5 released, and is a wii exclusive title that takes players through the story of Resident Evil 2 from a slightly different gameplay style.

The game's co-op mode allows each player to control an on screen cursor to shoot up those pesky zombies, creatures, and other nasties that litter the way as you control Leon and Claire.  According to the press material, the main characters will face their own inner demons - I think that's just a code for the dilemma of releasing a mature title on the Wii.

Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles announced for the Wii with 2 Player Co-OpMarch 13th, 2009 at 3:26 PM by Nicholas "bapenguin" Puleo

With the launch of Resident Evil 5 today, Capcom has announced a new game in the series, this time for the Wii.  The new game is called Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles, and is a sequel to the Wii exclusive two player co-op Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles.

The new game is being co-produced by RE5 Producer  Masachika Kawata. As an on rails shooter, Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles takes players through the story of Resident Evil 2 starring Claire Redfield and Leon Kennedy.  According to the press release the game will offer a more "in-depth co-op experience."  We aren't quite sure what that is, but at least Capcom is living up to their promise of providing more co-op games.

Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles is set to launch later this year with 2 player local co-op.  We have the announcement trailer straight ahead.
