Velma was always the brains of the Scooby Doo gang.  She knew before anyone that the monster was really just some shmuck in a mask.  You'd always find her head buried in a book.  In the latest Scooby Doo!  Fright Nights trailer she's chucking those books at scary monsters, and with Scooby by her side in the game's two player co-op - well Scooby gets a treat of his own.

Family co-op games are a big part of the cooperative genre.  Despite the popularity of games like Call of Duty, Gears of War, and many other violent titles; family friendly titles are just as important to gamers and their families.  That's why we keep a list.

Scooby-Doo!  First Frights looks to be a solid entry into this area of co-op games.  Being developed for the Wii, the two player co-op titles allows drop-in/drop-out play throughout the entire game has players take control of Scooby, Shaggy and the whole gang in a stylized adventure.  The latest trailer for the game showcases Shaggy and Scooby teaming up to take down some frightening creatures.

Mystery Inc. is back in business in the latest Scooby Doo! title from Warner Bros called Scooby Doo! First Frights.  Players will put their puzzle and mystery solving skills to the test as they unmask villain after villain.  YOINKS!  Mr. Bedfield the Butler!

In true Scooby Doo! fashion you'll never have to be alone on your adventure as the Wii and PlayStation 2 title allows a friend to drop in and drop out on a whim.  Hold me Shaggy!  The game is set for a September release, until then feast your beady eyes on the trailer and screenshots.
