Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time Reshelled is one of the longest game titles in recent memory.  What has changed in the remake, besides the graphics?  What is missing? And oh yeah, how's the co-op?  Find out in our review.

When Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time was announced with a price point of 1200  on the Xbox Live Arcade - a lot of people groaned.  Sure everybody loves a good remake of a solid co-op brawler, but at $15 dollars it's a steep price to pay.  Thankfully, everyone will soon get a to pay a lot less for their TiT.  

Ubisoft has announced it has dropped the price of the game, which releases this coming Wednesday, August 5th.

Last year's "Summer Of Arcade" campaign brought us co-op favorite Castle Crashers and this year we've got 2 more co-op titles, along with a handful of other gems headed our way.

Here's the schedule, co-op titles in bold:

• July 22 - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles In Time Re-Shelled (1200 MS Points)
• July 29 - Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 (1200 MS Points)
• August 5 - 'Splosion Man (800 MS Points)
• August 12 - Trials HD (1200 MS Points)
• August 19 - Shadow Complex (1200 MS Points)

Personally after seeing the trailer for 'Splosion Man, I'm super excited about that.  Even though it isn't co-op, I'll be all over Marvel vs Capcom 2!  What games are you most excited for?

The GameVideos crew took the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time Re-Shelled for a spin through the wayback machine to see how it compared to it's arcade original.  The video shows the games running side by side with each other, which gives you an idea just how far this game has come.

One thing I noticed is the newer version seems to lack some of the "pop" in color the original had.  What differences do you notice?

July 22nd will mark a momentous occasion, one where many of our childhood memories can be relived in a new shell! Turtles in Time: Reshelled will be released on the Xbox 360, with both online and offline 4-player co-op! Ubisoft promised a remake of the original Turtles in Time, as well as "extras" to keep things fresh.

Speaking of extras, IGN got a hands on demonstration which included a mode called "survival mode", which suggests relentless hordes of enemies to keep us busy! We look forward to other surprises yet to be revealed in this highly anticipated remake.

Unfortunately, the Playstation Network users will have to wait until an unannounced "later this year" date, we'll be sure to keep you posted.

Turtles in Time Re-Shelled got a little bit of show time at E3, confirming it's release during the "Summer of Arcade" promotion. As we've mentioned before, the classic arcade game Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles In Time is getting a complete makeover for the Xbox LIVE arcade. Now, thanks to E3, we've now got our hands on some of the hot new screens from the remastered co-op classic!
