This month in our Beyond Co-Op Reviews we take a look at quite a few solid titles. We compare the open worlds of Prototype against inFAMOUS; we look at what happens when Plants and Zombies mix. We also check out Knights in the Nightmare, Bionic Commando and the latest Indiana Jones title.

The Co-Opticast can legally drink this week, and the lack of campaign co-op in Ghostbusters might just drive us to doing so! Speaking of that, Mike rants at great length about misplaced resources and Nick chimes in with his hands-on impressions of Ghostbusters: The Video Game. Once upon a time, in a land far away, there lived four characters who craved fame.  You see, they used to be the talk of the kingdom – boys and girls around the entire world loved them, and their names were recognizable wherever one would go.  Things change, new stories get told, and beloved old storytime characters get lost in the shuffle.  You ever stop to think that maybe those characters don’t want to fade away?  That maybe they’ll do anything to get back in the limelight of their former glory?  In Playlogic and Game Factory’s Fairytale Fights, this is exactly the case – and things get bloody.  Very bloody.

There are many different types of games on the market for many different types of people. So, what designates which games can be played together, and which can not? We at Co-optimus.com tend to preach friendly co-op gaming, and notice many of the single player games out there feel somewhat cheated out of a quality co-op experience.

Some games had co-op left on the concept floor, cut out in the final stages, or some that seem to have missed the co-op boat completely. This is the co-optimus list of games that we feel could really use co-op for an improved gaming experience.

E3 kicks off next week, and with that a plethora of gaming announcements.  While we at Co-Optimus hope to hear some great co-op news, it may be hard to top last year's show.  We decided to have a little fun today and give some predictions about E3 and what will be announced to the world, both co-op and not.
