Left 4 who? Resident 5 what? Pa-shaw! I bring you the latest screens of the first DLC of Borderlands, titled the Zombie Island of Dr. Ned. Fear the giant Frankenstein like creatures, look in horror as hordes of undead midgets attempt to eat your brains.
Then shoot them in the face with a shotgun that does electrical damage and has a scope.

If you've played Left 4 Dead 2 and reached the finale of the first campaign, Dead Center, then you know all about Jimmy Gibbs Jr.
"He's only the greatest stock car racer of our generation... read a book sometime!" says Ellis during the finale's intro. And while we may have hoped that Mr Gibbs found a way out of the apocalypse and made it to safety, it seems that isn't the case. An enterprising modder has found a zombie model for Gibbs available for unlocking.
Codemasters has released a co-op capable demo of Operation Flashpoint 2: Dragon Rising on the PC today. The demo takes place in the game's first mission, Dragon Rising, where you are inserted behind enemy lines and must destroy a radar station and SAM site. The demo supports up to four players in co-op mode.
The demo weighs in at 1.4GB and is available from various download mirrors. If you're still unsure if you want the game after checking out the demo, perhaps our review can provide the info you are missing?
Co-Op gamers should be familiar with Mr Albert Wesker as he was the main villain in Resident Evil 5. After conquering him in the game you could unlock him as a playable character in Mercenaries mode, and for us, he was a favorite.
So there's good news for those of you looking forward to Lost Planet 2 and its four player co-op mode - Wesker is an exclusive pre-order bonus to Gamestop. Well it's good news if you like Gamestop, and thankfully it's only a skin. That's ok right? Not exactly.
We've been big fans of Call of Duty: World at War's Zombie mode since it was released. We've always said, time and time again, that the four player co-op game should have had a stand alone release on the Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network. While we're still waiting for that day, we do have the next best thing - a portable iPhone/iPod Touch version with included ONLINE and local cooperative play.
Call of Duty: World at War: Zombies includes three control options including dual stick, tilt and swipe look. It's not the most ideal method of playing, but it appears to work. As we've said there's built in online matchmaking included for four player, though there's no way to communicate with your teammates.
Only one map is included, which looks to be based off the original Nacht der Untoten map in the full game. Call of Duty: World at War: Zombies it out now for the iPhone/iPod touch and will set you back $9.99.
Despite being on everyone's radar as the most popular enemy in a video game the past year, the zombies are shuddering on their limp legs as Left 4 Dead 2, the sequel to the game that seemed to start the trend, is out on Tuesday, November 17th.
In case you didn't know, Left 4 Dead 2 has four player cooperative play through five campaigns, placing gamers in the role of one of four survivors. You'll go through an evil carnival, a swamp, New Orleans and other zombie infested locales all the while using new weapons and items to survive the best you can. Can you say frying pan? The game is available on the Xbox 360 and PC.
Out today in North America is the New Super Mario Bros Wii for the..uh...Wii. The four player co-op title is a game true to its roots, providing side scrolling platforming set in the Mushroom Kingdom. We played the game at PAX this year and enjoyed it quite a bit, but I have to say, after watching the video posted below it's now on the must buy list.
The video shows four players co-oping through a level, passing Luigi around like a drunk college freshman at a frat party. Luigi doesn't do a single thing the entire level except reap the rewards of his team; collecting coins and 1UPs and finally sitting atop the flag pole.
If you haven't picked it up yet, you can snag it on Amazon for $47 with free shipping and $10 in videogame credit.

Let's face it, Valve's track record for timing isn't exactly the best. Considering the Left 4 Dead 2 demo and Modern Warfare 2 delays made a few users...unpleasant...Valve has decided to lay it out for you in black and white on just when Left 4 Dead 2 will be unlocked via Steam. Are you ready?
When L4D2 will go live:
- Monday, November 16th, 9:00 PM Pacific Standard Time
- Monday, November 16th, 10:00 PM Mountain Standard Time
- Monday, November 16th, 11:00 PM Central Standard Time
- Tuesday, November 17th, 12:00 AM (midnight) Eastern Standard Time
- Tuesday, November 17th, 5:00 AM Greenwich Mean Time
- Tuesday, November 17th, 8:00 AM Moscow Time
- Tuesday, November 17th, 2:00 PM Japan Standard Time
