Our stream is a complete run through of the content with plenty of talk about the classic game and its co-op experiences.

New Trailer for Co-Op Undersea Explorer We Need to Go DeeperJohn Bardinelli

We Need to Go Deeper is all about exploration. Dangerous, deadly exploration. As you putter around the sea, co-op players work roles in the ship to make repairs, attack foes that invade your submersible, load torpedoes, reroute power to the shields, and just generally try not to drown. You'll also don breathing helmets and head out to the ocean floor on foot, provided you don't get eaten by, you know, death stuff. It seems like everything's trying to kill you down here, but when the call of adventure strikes, who are we to turn it down?

I felt that the third title while intriguing in its own way and better about skill trees/progression as a whole compared to the previous titles, had its flaws as well. Notably, not being able to repeat any of the campaign and the weird difficulty spikes in the "Scenarios." Still, there are few enough aRPGs on consoles these days and it's different enough from Diablo to make it worthwhile.

In addition to Unity, coughing up $15 will net you the recent Assassin's Creed Chronicles titles that shifted to a platformer presentation instead of the usual third-person action, as well as the original Assassin's Creed, the far better Assassin's Creed II, the "so close, yet so far" but co-op friendly Assassin's Creed III, and the underrated (IMO) Assassin's Creed Liberation, which was a Vita exclusive title initially. Sadly, Assassin's Creed IV (my personal favorite because pirates) is missing from this, but that's still a lot of AC to get for that price.

The game has been removed from all digital service platforms where it was previously available for sale. This means you can no longer find it on Steam, Xbox Marketplace, or the PlayStation Store. Boxed copies are still available via places like Amazon, so you can get it there if you're looking to pick it up. If you have previously purchased the game digitally, don't worry, you can still play it and download it again.

While most of these goodies are cosmetic in nature, such as a Diablo-themed portrait for StarCraft II, there is a significant addition on the way for Diablo 3 in the form of the "Darkening of Tristram" event that will be patched into the game sometime soon (possibly this week). This event will allow players to travel back to the original world of Diablo, albeit with some graphics that have been intentionally "retro-styled" and none of the original classes from that game. Once patch 2.4.3 arrives, you'll be able to enter a special portal in Old Tristram and find yourself back in 1996 era of Diablo.

Prior to this update, if you wanted to play Super Dungeon Bros online, you had to play with three other people. Not a problem if you had three friends who also had the game, but very problematic if you only had one buddy who owned it. With the update, that problem is solved and online co-op is allowed for just two or three players. What's more, you can create a private lobby to ensure that you're only playing with your friends.

The "Stocking Stuffer Holiday Pack" will automatically be added to your game if own the Season Pass and along with Frank's big red suit, the zombies are getting into the spirit with outfits that include Santa's helper elves, gingerbread men, and snowmen. New weapons, like a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire and Chrismas lights, or the candy-stripped hammer with grenades on it called the "Candy Pain, are available, as well as a motorcycle that shoots laser beams called "Santa's Little Melter." If you don't own the Season Pass, then all of this content will cost you $4.99.

Deathtrap is from Neocore Games, the developers behind The Incredible Adventure of Van Helsing and the forthcoming Warhammer 40k: Inquisitor - Martyr, and is set within the same universe as Van Helsing. Up to four players can team up online in the cooperative campaign to build towers and use their own abilities to stem the tide of foes streaming forth from the Chaos Portals.

The four aspiring actors that are hoping to make it big will now find themselves in a summer camp that's been taken over by "a few hundred raver kids" to hold an all-night rave party. Obviously things aren't going to go as planned if zombies are involved. Just as "Zombies in Spaceland" had a particular theme, "Rave in the Redwoods" appears to be going for more of a '90s slasher vibe. There's even some kind of special enemy called "The Slasher" that they'll have to fend off.

Space Hulk: Deathwing is the Warhammer 40k game I wanted 10 years ago. Its overall design - from the slow, plodding pace of the Terminators to the cramped corridors and distinct 40k architecture - and the emphasis on squad-based encounters against an overwhelming threat are truly outstanding. For every point where it shines, though, it also lacks a...

A consistent theme throughout 40k's lore is the constant warring waged by the various factions for control of star systems, one planet at a time. Necocore is trying to bring some of that idea into the "open world sandbox" that is the Caligari Sector of WH40k: Inquisitor - Martyr. Players will initially be given access to one subsector of Caligari where they will be able to pursue randomly generated missions in order to influence the corruption level of that subsector. Some of these missions may lead you to other quests to provide a kind of mini-campaign experience. These missions are cooperative as opposed to the preset single-player campaign. Neocore also plans on setting up "seasons" within the game that are free and task players with pursuing certain goals.

This new mode is separate from the full game, but it is free for anyone who owns the game on the PC. It features four levels you can explore within VR - the familiar Red Moon Inn, the Hall of the Poison Feast, and two special VR levels, Reikwald and Ungdrin Rail - four different weapon types to use, and three different enemy types to slay. Unlike the full game, this VR mode only supports two players online instead of four.
