Co-Op Campaign Being Added to DOTA 2 via The International Battle Pass

Fans of DOTA 2, but not all that intense PvP action, will have an opportunity this summer to play a different kind of DOTA. Anyone who buys the "The International 2017 Battle Pass," an annual item that not only adds to the reward money on the line at the big event but also provides in-game rewards to players, will get access to the new co-op campaign called "Siltbreaker."

We Explore Space in the Co-Op Rogue Like, Pulsar: Lost Colony

Last night we took to the stars in a co-op sci-fi game called Pulsar: Lost Colony. With a crew of five at your disposal it's your job to explore the galaxy, repel invaders, and destroy hostile ships. What makes this game unique is that every player has a job to run the ship. The Captain organizes the crew, sets the goals, and upgrades the ship. The science officer makes sure the shields are properly tuned to defend and fights off incoming computer viruses. The engineer works to balance the ship's power while the pilot steers and maneuvers the vessel. Finally, the weapons specialist makes sure your crew is properly defended.

ORION: Prelude Free-To-Play for a Week, Buy for $1

In the world of game development, there is definitely something to be said for perseverance. When ORION: Prelude released back in May 2012 (then known as ORION: Dino Beatdown), it seemed like it was dead on arrival. The developer, Spiral Game Studios, never gave up on it, though, and has continued to update, improve, and add on to the title. By all accounts, the game has significantly improved. To celebrate, the game is free-to-play for the next week and can be picked up for just a $1.

The pinnacle of food-based simulation.

Farming Simulator 15 Launches in October

Do you feel the unrelenting urge to harvest asparagus? Are you gripped with the desires to plant, and water, corn? Have you ever shot out of bed in the middle of the night, covered in sweat, your palms aching with the carnal desire to extract carrots straight from the earth with your bare hands? Do you feel a strong emotional attachment (either positive or negative!) about Horsch brand farming vehicles?

Pulsar Features Cooperative Space Exploration with a Side of Permadeath

Aside from voxel sandbox games, Flappy Bird clones and "gritty" first person shooters with muscular male protagonists, the new "it" genre everybody's talking about is the cooperative starship simulator. Ok, maybe it's not as mainstream as we'd like, but the idea is certainly catching on. Pulsar: Lost Colony is the latest addition to the budding sub-genre, and the developers have some great ideas at a rolling boil.
