As Jim highlighted in his hands-on preview of Skate 3, the focus for the latest game in the Skate franchise is on teaming up with your friends. While at the Skate 3 Community Event, we had the opportunity to talk with Chris “Cuz” Parry, producer for all three Skate titles and a skater himself, about how the co-op came about, the rewards for building a team, and how you can still enjoy co-op with your friend even if he or she isn’t around.

We reviewed Killing Floor back in June of this year and gave it pretty high accolades. In a world crowded with zombie and undead shooters, Killing Floor managed to set itself apart by offering new depth in gameplay and six player co-op. If you still haven't dropped the $20 on the game, you can now get your hands waxed and ready with the full version for free this weekend on Steam.
You can preload the game now, and it should unlock later today, with it being playable until the end of the weekend. Tripwire has even included brand new bonus content which includes three new maps, seven new weapons and twenty new Steam achievements.

The most famous band of all time gets the music game treatment. How does The Beatles Rock Band hold up compared to its predecessors? What about the three part harmonies? Is the song list too short? Find out in our "Fab" review!

The weather is getting colder, the trees are changing color, and baseball season is coming to an end. That can mean only one thing...HOCKEY! EA Sports is back with their latest NHL title, but does it live up to the expectations we have for its co-op mode?

Spelunker HD is already available on the Japanese PlayStation Network, and the remake of the classic NES game has garnered some fairly solid buzz. Now we have word that the game will be making its way stateside, along with the included 6 player online co-op mode!
If you never played the original, the game is a mix of platforming and puzzles set in underground caves filled with snakes, ghosts, and of course precious gems! The HD version looks gorgeous with completely redone graphics, but it will also contain a mode that allows you to play with the classic graphics.

Wal-Mart here we come!
Tripwire Interactive has announced it will self publish its six player co-op shooter, Killing Floor, in North America. The game is set for a retail release "shortly" for the wallet friendly price of $19.99. This is good news for folks afraid of Valve's Steam service or other digital distribution methods. But really, there's no reason to be afraid, the scary digital monsters won't get you.
Be sure to check out our review of the game in the meantime.

We wish it looked like this, but it doesn't.
Activision has announced that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be coming to the Nintendo DS this fall. The game is called Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2: Mobilised and the game is so big it has two colon's in the title.
The game is set to feature building to building combat, UAV control, tank control and the ability to man the AC-130 gunship. It's unclear if the game has co-op play, but apparently the six player multiplayer mode was so awesome they named it twice in the press release.
Tripwire Interactive has announced the first piece of DLC for The Killing Floor on the PC. The six player co-op shooter is getting a new campaign map called Foundry which pits players against the zombie like creatures in an old Iron Works building.
Two new weapons will be included, an AK-47 and a Samurai Sword. Yes...a samurai sword. This pack is being called the Heavy Metal pack and will be available through Steam soon.
There's also a premium piece of content coming that includes four new characters. No date or price was given for this.

Star Trek D-A-C was released earlier this year along side the Star Trek movie reboot. There wasn't much fanfare around the title, and a lot of people overlooked it. Perhaps with good reason. We dive into the cooperative mode to see if there's any Klingons worth saving...

We all love zombies. Alright, some of us don't love them, but the desire to mow down zombie hordes is nigh universal. With last year's Left 4 Dead, the zombie co-op survival genre was born, and was quickly reinforced by Call of Duty: World at War's Nazi Zombies mode. Killing Floor, from Tripwire Interactive, liberally borrows elements from both of these games and a few others to create a wonderful co-op experience that feels instantly familiar, but becomes unique almost from the moment you take control. With co-op for up to six players being the game's entire focus (its subtitle is "Co-Op Survival Horror", after all), genre (and co-op) fans are in for a real treat.
