Super Bomberman R Co-Op Review

Before shooters took over the gaming scene, Bomberman was the premiere multiplayer gaming franchise. Though the series was known mostly for its competitive multiplayer, some of the best entries in the series – especially Saturn Bomberman – featured local co-op as well. Platform-specific heroes getting added

Super Bomberman R Headed to PS4, Xbox One, and PC This June

Super Bomberman R will celebrated one year on the Nintendo Switch a couple weeks ago, and today, Konami announced that the title will be making its way to the PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 this summer. Each platform will be getting their own unique hero (Ratchet for PS4, the P-Body bot from Portal 2 for PC, and Master Chief for Xbox One), so you can drop bombs as your favorite character from another game.

Rock Band 3 Will Charge to Use Keyboard and Harmony on Songs Already Owned

Rock Band 3 is a great game.  We say as much in our review.   Unfortunately, fans may be disappointed to hear that Harmonix  is taking a move right out of the Star Wars franchise playbook, in that they will be charging gamers again and again for the same content.  If you already own a song for Rock Band 2 you will need to purchase it again if you want to have the keyboard or vocal harmony portions.

Rock Band 3 Co-Op Review

Harmonix has long set atop the music game pecking order, and Rock Band 3 is another very strong effort. The gameplay we've enjoyed for years is as good as ever, and arguably the best it has ever been. But the inclusion of an entirely new instrument and Pro mode are Rock Band 3's true focus.

We've got a couple bits of news for you after Rock Band 3's release earlier this week.  Ever been listening to the radio, hear a cool song, and think, "Wow, that would be awesome to play in Rock Band.  I wonder if it's available?"  But, you aren't close to your console to check it out?  There's now an app for that, albeit an unofficial one.  Called the "RB Song List", the app is free.  Now you'll be able to see whether "Wipe Out" is available in Rock Band anywhere you go.

Rock Band Hits 2000 Songs, Plus Pro Mode Guitar Details

Guitar Hero may have just released a new title, but there's only one game on the minds of discerning music game fans this fall: Rock Band 3.  As the anticipation for the new Rock Band increases, the platform itself has reached a major milestone: as of next week, 2000 songs will be available to play in game, whether via game disc, export, or DLC.  The 2000th song, "Are You Experienced?" is from a real guitar hero: Jimi Hendrix.  I can't think of a better track to have such an honor.  You can download this track and the rest of the Are You Experienced? album on October 12.

Rock Band 3 Keyboard Gameplay, Plus Export Details

As Rock Band 3's late October release approaches, more and more details about the game are coming to light.  The keyboard instrument, new to the series, is perhaps the most intriguing.  A new trailer has been released, and a good bit of actual keyboard gameplay is shown off.  From the video, we see that on easy and medium difficulty, the note track looks very much like a guitar track, but on hard and expert, the track changes to look like that of the picture above.  While the lower two difficulty levels will only have a 10 note range, the tougher versions will require players to shift up and down the ivories often, more directly mimicing an actual keyboard playing experience.

Here's The Entire Rock Band 3 Set List

Big news from Harmonix today: the complete set list for Rock Band 3 has been revealed!  It's an excellent mix of tunes across five decades, and with the addition of keyboards, there's a bit more pop included.  Don't worry, though, there's still plenty of rock and roll.  We've also got a trailer featuring the new keyboard gameplay.  But seriously, why are you still reading this?  Check out the track list and tell us what you think!
