Left 4 Dead 2 is releasing next week, and Amazon has a solid deal for you on the 360 version.  You can pick the game up for $55 and you'll get $10 off future video game purchases.  If you picked up any of their other deals recently, you probably already have some credit to burn!

You can even get the game on release date for only $5, or free if you are a Prime member.  The PC version is available for $45.

Get $40 in Videogame Credit when you Spend $80 at AmazonOctober 27th, 2009 at 10:47 PM by Nicholas "bapenguin" Puleo

The battle is truly on for your fall gaming dollar as Amazon has unleashed a killer deal for gamers.  While normally they offer a $5 or $10 credit for preordering titles through their site, this deal trumps them all.

When you spend $80 on qualifying games, they are going to give you $40 in credit towards future game purchases.  The list of eligible video games is about 600 titles deep, and titles like Uncharted 2, Borderlands, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2, Operation Flashpoint 2, and The Beatles: Rock Band are all on the list.

Amazon Offers Buy 2 Get 1 Free on VideogamesOctober 14th, 2009 at 12:56 PM by Nicholas "bapenguin" Puleo

Amazon.com is offering a Buy 2 Get 1 Free promotion, or as they call it, 3 For 2, on a good chunk of video games.  This isn't just older titles, but a lot of newer titles as well.

A quick gander at the list reveals a few co-op titles as well like: Operation Flashpoint 2, Madden 10, Guitar Hero 5, Beatles Rock Band, NHL 10, Gears of War 2, Halo 3, Call of Duty: World at War, and Star Wars the Clone Wars: Republic Heroes.

In a season of gaming when wallets are empty due to a plethora of new releases, a deal like this is very welcomed.  And remember,  all purchases using the above link help support Co-Optimus!

Amazon is having a Gold Box day for Xbox 360 games.  That means lots of great games at super cheap prices for a short window of time.  We'll update this throughout the day, but I've bolded the clues which I think will lead to co-op titles.

  • 10AM PDT -- Ace Combat 6 ($19.99)

Amazon XBLA Deals - FLOCK! and Free Points!April 22nd, 2009 at 8:08 AM by Nicholas "bapenguin" Puleo

FLOCK! may only be a week or two old, but the two player local co-op game most likely had a hard time selling at its $15 price point . That's where Amazon comes in!  Thanks to their brand new Xbox Live Arcade store you can snag FLOCK! for a $5 off it's normal price.

Keep an eye on the site as we'll have a co-op review of this sheepingly interesting title sometime next week!

Another promotion Amazon is running - purchase a 1600 MS Point code from Amazon or a 4000 MS Point code from Amazon and you'll get $5 or $10 credit respectively towards another code purchase from the site.  So you could pick up 4000 points and get FLOCK! for free!  Score!  Notice all the !?  Ok then....

Xbox Arcade Games Unleashed On Amazon.comApril 08th, 2009 at 3:03 PM by Katrina "ShadokatRegn" Pawlowski

Unleashed.

If I go out and buy a Microsoft points card, one that I will use to purchase Xbox arcade games, there are set amounts that I am required to buy. For instance, if I would like an 800  game, which is equivalent to $10, I am required to buy at least a $20, 1600 card. Or, I could go for a 400 game, with the same point purchase requirement. Along with Xbox DLC, this leaves me with a perpetual balance, that I may, or may not ever fully drain.

Until now, that is. Amazon.com just announced its very own Xbox Store which allows you to buy individual arcade games, without having to translate Microsoft points into monetary value! With no packaging to purchase, you pay your total cost up front, and get the download code directly from Amazon.com. No shipping costs, no waiting, and no Microsoft points - though, Microsoft points and gold memberships are also available.

Now the kicker question: Will Amazon.com be able to introduce it's usual competitive discounts, or does Microsoft have a lock down on the Arcade prices? I suppose we'll know for sure soon enough!

Friendly reminder, all Amazon.com purchases through Co-optimus.com help the site!
