If you woke up this morning, remembered that Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition, Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition, and Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition are all available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch now, and THEN thought, "oh boy! A chance to play those with friends!" we have some unfortunate but also vitally important news. The console versions of those games are single-player only.
UPDATE: The Enhanced Editions of Baldur's Gate, Baldur's Gate 2, and Icewind Dale do not support co-op or any multiplayer at this time. They are single-player games only. We have removed the console versions from our database. The original news post is below.
Role playing game fans everywhere have cause to flood the streets with their joyous cries. Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition is now live for $24.99 on steam, a meager 13 years after the original hit. Import your main character from the last game or whip up another from scratch and dive headfirst into Advanced Dungeons and Dragons warfare. With additional characters, improved graphics, and more tweaked gameplay, there has never been a better reason to return to the Forgotten Realms in search of glory and sweet loot.
In just over two weeks' time, the enhanced edition of Baldur's Gate II will be released on the PC and Mac through Steam or Beamdog. Just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday, for those of you in the US. For those of you elsewhere in the world, then it's just in time for the weekend!

Up to six adventurers can band together and explore through the detailed worlds of Forgotten Realms, sure to please both those familiar with the setting and RPG fans alike. Enhanced Edition includes all of the expansions to the original Baldur's Gate II and more, nearing in on 300 hours worth of talking to farmers about their giant spider problems and checking chests for traps.
