Following the fire this week at the Cathedral of Notre Dame in Paris France, Ubisoft have pledged 500,000 Euros to its rebuilding along with giving away Assassin's Creed Unity, a game set in Paris France during the 1700's.

While there's still time to grab both Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris and LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga for free this month thanks to Microsoft's "Games with Gold" program, you can start looking forward to next month when Assassin's Creed 3 "goes gold."

While it had a number of issues at launch, and even after, Assassin's Creed Unity was still a pretty fun co-op title. Getting a group of friends together to plot and execute a stealthy assassination (before it all inevitably turns into a Benny Hill skit) is the best way to enjoy that game. The latest Humble Bundle lets you get in on the assassination action with that and several other AC titles all for the low, low price of $15.

Hey, do you own a PC that can play games? Then you'll probably want to stop whatever it is you're doing, head over to the Ubisoft Club, and snag seven free games, including the co-op friendly Rayman Origins, The Crew, and Assassin's Creed 3.

Celebrate the gaming lull that is the month of July by picking up a few titles on the cheap thanks to Microsoft's "Ultimate Game Sale." The sale kicked off earlier this week and features more than a few co-op titles, like Battleborn, Assassin's Creed: Unity, and Tom Clancy's The Division, at a discount ranging from 20% up to 50% off.

Cyber Monday is here. It's like Black Friday but with a more risque attitude. Amazon of course is participating and there's lots of good games to grab on the cheap. Here are a select few co-op titles we found buried in the bargain bin. 

Not to be outdone by an upcoming Steam Summer Sale, Amazon is first to the gate with their own PC digital sale. Included in the first batch of titles are some crazy deals on games both new and old - and plenty with co-op.  

Deal of the Week!  Are there any words sweeter than this?  Over the years Microsoft have offered some great discounts on co-op games, but perhaps this week is not one of them!  However, people that don't already own Far Cry 4 or Assassin's Creed Unity may just be intrigued by the 45% off.

One of the elements of Assassin's Creed Unity that I found so odd was the companion app that came along with it. The "Assassin's Creed Inc" mission system - wherein you recruit and send off fellow assassins on missions - had been entirely relegated to this companion app and completing these missions unlocked chests in the main game to get new equipment or money. Hopefully you didn't spend too much time with that app because all of those chests are now unlocked. For free.
