Monaco's XBLA Release Will Be Delayed

NEWS 9:30 AM on 4/24/2013 by Jason Love

I know what you're saying, "didn't you just post your review of the game, which I totally didn't skip to the end of, and now I'm all excited to play it on my Xbox?" I'm sorry to say it's sad, but true. The XBLA version of Monaco: What's Yours is Mine is getting a delayed release. News of this came just yesterday afternoon from the official Monaco Facebook page. Not many details are provided as to the cause of the delay - the post merely states "there is an issue which requires that we push our Xbox Live arcade game release date a little" - or how long that delay will be.

ibb and obb Release Delayed for a Reason We Support - Adding Online Co-Op

NEWS 6:04 PM on 10/26/2012 by Jason Love

Some of you may remember an indie co-op game called ibb and obb that we mentioned way back on our "Co-Op Games of 2012 Preview" episode of the Co-Opticast. The premise of the game (based on what we've seen so far) is fairly simple: two creatures (the titual ibb and obb) attempt to traverse a landscape that is mirrored across a horizontal plane. Traversing this landscape entails working together and using the inescapable affects of gravity to reach higher ledgers, soar past enemies, and generally pull of some pretty cool jumps.

Rayman Legends Says Goodbye 2012, Hello 2013

NEWS 5:21 AM on 10/9/2012 by Sam Tyler

Legends don't develop overnight; they take centuries of retelling around campfires, on parchment and over the internet, before they become lore.  Therefore, to expect Rayman Legends to be released for the WiiU launch in 2012 is surely asking too much?  To become Legend, it must mature into 2013 - or perhaps Ubisoft have just not finished tinkering with the game.

NEWS 6:33 AM on 7/2/2012 by Sam Tyler

The launch of Ghost Recon Future Soldier has not been the smoothest of rides, whilst console gamers had a pick up and play experience; PC players had a glitchier encounter.  In a bid to avoid any more bad press, Ubisoft have done a wise thing and delayed the 3rd July bound Arctic Strike DLC to polish the content i.e. make sure it works.

Far Cry 3 Delayed Until December 4th

NEWS 1:12 PM on 6/25/2012 by Mike Katsufrakis

When game historians look back on the year 2012, it won't be remembered for all of the quality titles coming out, or even that it's a transition year spent in anticipation of new hardware launches. No, it will be remembered as the year that all of the triple-A titles got delayed - often until 2013. Far Cry 3 is now part of the club, as its original release date of September 4th has been pushed to December 4th in the U.S.
