Eden Rising Launches Next Month With A F2P Option

Nvizzio Creation's third-person action/tower-defense title, Eden Rising: Supremacy, will be making its way out of Early Access and into a full release next month. When it does, there will be two versions: the free-to-play "Explorer Edition," and the $25 "Ascendant Edition." The paid version does include four additional areas to explore and defend over the free version, along with some extra armor dyes and "Bestiary Mastery," but it also has a nice perk. Only one person needs to buy it for a group of friends to enjoy that that extra content.

Co-op shmuping is the best shmuping

Steredenn: Binary Stars Update Brings Local Co-Op Shooting to Xbox One and Steam

Steredenn is a shoot ‘em up with Roguelike elements released way back in 2015. It has always been a single-player shooter, but that recently changed with the free ‘Binary Stars’ update. Thanks to this surprisingly great update, the Xbox One and Steam versions of Steredenn now support 2-player local co-op (just like the Nintendo Switch version)!

The PC version will include the full PSN experience, but also the additional Encore content pack. The game will cost $9.99 and does not require you to don a Grimp suit (the name of the in-game heroes).

This Week In Co-Op Gaiden: The Feature That Almost Was

Hello friends, it's your old pal Mike! Since I hadn't had a chance to co-op recently, and Xbox Live was down last night (and I don't have a headset for PSN), I'm here to regale you with a tale of a feature that Jason and myself tried to get off the ground, but ultimately couldn't make work. It didn't have a name, but it did culminate in one of my favorite "co-op" (take note of those quotes) moments in recent memory.
