Maybe you've been looking at picking up some Capcom titles on Xbox Live Arcade? You might want to wait until later this spring. The rather blandly-named Capcom Digital Collection is headed to retail release in late March. The disc bundles eight of Capcom's better downloadable offerings, several of which are co-op. 1942: Joint Strike, Bionic Commando Rearmed 2, Final Fight: Double Impact (pictured above), Flock!, Rocketmen: Axis of Evil, and Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3 all feature co-op gameplay; for details, check out the links. Rounding out the set are two very popular games that lack co-op but are still pretty awesome: Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, and Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix.
Capcom Arcade is a multi-game app for iPhone and iPad that lets players sample and purchase classic Capcom titles. The latest addition to the app: Final Fight, one of the all-time classic co-op beat-em-ups.
The free to play Capcom Arcade App on iOS has gotten an update and included with it is two brand new classic games that feature co-op multiplayer. Final Fight, the side scrolling beat em up has been added and features two player local co-op via Bluetooth. Another game added to the library is 1943, the classic SHMUP also features two player co-op vide bluetooth. To gain access to either game simply download or update to the latest version of the app.
Final Fight Double Impact represents a good value, with all sorts of nifty bells and whistles adding to the enjoyment of what is already a strong Co-Op Classic. Or, rather, TWO Co-Op Classics.
