Because it wasn't silly enough

Fruit Ninja Kinect Getting a Sci-Fi Theme

Every so often I get inspired to get my lift on so I can maintain my massive Torgue-like physique. Then I see the layer of dust on my Thigh Master, Ab Roller, and Shake Weight and I lose all interest. Lucky for me, I have a Kinect! Sure, it's dusty too, but I don't have to touch it. I find that a few minutes of playing Fruit Ninja Kinect each month is just enough exercise to keep me alive. I haven't died yet, so the science must be right!

Wicked Halloween Themed DLC's Arrive on Happy Wars and Fruit Ninja Kinect

Halloween isn’t just a time for people to dress up spooky, because many games also like to follow in the trend as well. In one week, the holiday event will arrive, and with it a bunch of games with hold their own Halloween-themes that fans can deck their games with. Two great co-op titles, Happy Wars and Fruit Ninja Kinect want to have their gamers get in the spirit of Halloween, and they’re going to do it through small, fun-sized DLC additions.

Halfbrick Studios is Giving Fruit Ninja Kinect a New, Retro Look

We’ve praised Fruit Ninja Kinect as one of the better titles to own for the motion sensing hardware, but little do people know that the game is really a reboot of a classic arcade title. Fruit Ninja made its debut back during the “Golden Age” of video games in the 1980’s and it’s only these last few years that it received much attention. Obviously, I’m only pulling your leg with the history stuff, but Fruit Ninja Kinect will be getting a new, arcade, classic look that could’ve fooled us.

Fruit Ninja Kinect - Storm Season and Space Capsule DLC Pack Impressions

Shortly after Fruit Ninja Kinect launched on August 10, it received a DLC Pack called “Storm Season.” Just yesterday, “Storm Season” was followed up by another pack, “Space Capsule.” Each Pack costs 160 Microsoft Points and adds a new weapon, shadow, background, and Achievements. We’ve put them through their paces and survived to tell the tale, though a great many fruits weren’t so lucky.
