New Torchlight 2 Trailer Shows Off Co-Op

Runic Games have released the first trailer showing off gameplay footage of Torchlight 2.  Not only do we get a glimpse of the new weather system and several new locations, we get our first peak at the co-op action.  In fact, the entire trailer is focused on co-op play and how it was the number one asked for feature of the original.  You see that - developers do listen to our feedback.

Dead Rising 2 Screens Feature Underwear, Scary Clown Masks, Wheelchair Tanks

The latest batch of screenshots for the upcoming two player co-op Dead Rising 2 sure are interesting.  To say there's a variety to the visual style is an understatement.  On one hand you have the menacing undead horde, ready to consume your brains at a moments notice.  On the other hand you have a dude in heart covered underwear wearing brass knuckles with huge spikes on them.

Microsoft Announces new Age of Empires Title with Online Co-Op

Microsoft have announced a new game in the Age of Empires series called Age of Empires Online.  Developed by Robot Entertainment, who are made up of former Age of Empires creators from Ensemble Studios, the game looks to break the mold of the previous Age of Empires games by adding in a bit of an MMO element.  Originally teased as "Spartan" the Age of Empires Online puts players in the role of their own Greek civilization through various story lines and gameplay.

New Brink Screens are Brinkalicious

We've run out of real adjectives to describe Splash Damage's upcoming 8 player co-op game Brink.  We've used the words and phrases like - awesome, drool worthy, excellent, beautiful, amazing, and hot.  We even made up a word called co-operidiculousistical. Basically I'm pretty sure we've exhausted the English language, so we're going to continue making up words to describe Brink, mostly because we're lazy, but partially because we think the game deserves it.

RAGE Runs on iPhones, New Screens

id's Quakecon is going on right now and out of the conference comes some pretty interesting RAGE news.  First up is a version of the game is currently being planned for iPhone and iPads, a live tech demonstration showcasing id Tech 5 running on the iOS4 platform was given by John Carmack and the results are impressive.  Full lighting and shadows, detailed megatextures and 60 FPS were just some of the features on display.
