Serious Sam HD has Gone Gold on the PCNovember 04th, 2009 at 8:44 AM by Nicholas "bapenguin" Puleo

Devolver Digital's Twitter account has announced that Serious Sam HD has gone gooooooooold for the PC.  The PC version of the game is going to have "at least" 16 player co-op play throughout the game.

The remake of the classic game is done in Croteam's new Serious Engine 3.0 and will also be available on the Xbox Live Arcade about the same time as the PC release.  Sadly the Xbox version will only support four players.  At least it still has sunshine and lollipops though...right?

Borderlands has Gone GoldOctober 11th, 2009 at 8:12 AM by Nicholas "bapenguin" Puleo

Gearbox has announced that all versions of Borderlands have Gone Gold and will be on retail shelves soon.  The Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 version will hit on October 20th in the US and October 26th in Europe.  The PC version will be out on October 26th in the US and the 30th in Europe.

Expect the marketing blitz to go into full affect in the next week or so as Gearbox and 2K Games promotes this four player co-op Shooter/RPG.  Or as Gearbox calls it - and RPS.  You can find all of our Borderlands coverage right here.  Got yours preordered?  Then hit up the meet-up thread to find other gamers for co-op!

Fable 2 Has Gone GOLDSeptember 23rd, 2008 at 2:43 PM by Nicholas "bapenguin" Puleo

There are those that said this day would never come,  and to those Peter Molyneaux says - "Nah nah nah nah na naaaaaaaaaaaaa."  That's right, Fable 2 has gone gold after years in development, and much to everyone's surprise this game hasn't been completely overhyped like its baby brother.

Fable 2 is expected on North American store shelves on October 21st, and European shelves on the 24th.  The game features a true drop in and drop out co-op experience for 2 players via Xbox Live or Local Play.  Looking for more info on the co-op?  Be sure to check back to Co-Optimus early next week for our exclusive interview with Lionhead discussing everything co-op.
