Rock out to "Sinister [E2M6]" from DOOM and more!

Scarlet Moon Halloween Album Features Songs from DOOM and Other Spooky Classics

October is the spookiest month of the year, so creepy music is certainly in order. To celebrate the season, Scarlet Moon Productions has released Scarlet Moon Halloween Volume I on digital storefronts. The album features a total of seven tracks from DOOM, Metroid, Castlevania, and other scary and/or gothic games. It's a festive and catchy album, to be sure.

This content is free to everyone, too, so you'll be able to enjoy it as long as you own the game. During the event, you'll be able to earn unique cosmetics (such as character skins, an ECHO device skin, weapon skin) and there are new weapons to add to your collection as well.

Enjoy Some Spooky Treats in Fortnite

October comes to a close today, and thus we're afforded one last chance to enjoy all of the Halloween-themed content offerings in our games before they get replaced by new holiday-based cosmetics. Epic Games dropped some new content into Fortnite last week that provides players with a chance to pick up a rocket launcher that shoots pumpkins, and also added some appropriately themed missions.

Free game update allows you to "deal" with Death

Dungeon of the Endless Update is Halloween Themed

It's that time of year when your favorite games drop in new content that is in some way, shape, or form, Halloween-themed. Such is the case with the free "Death Gamble" update to the cooperative dungeon crawler/defense title, Dungeon of the Endless, which adds a literal Death to the game (as opposed to the one against which you're figuratively battling throughout) that will offer players a very "special" deal.

Team Fortress 2 Gets Zombies in Time for Halloween

Scream Fortress is an anual "event" set in Valve's free to play first person shooter, Team Fortress 2.  This year though, things are a little different, thanks in part to an additional co-op mode that was added over the summer.   The free update includes a haunted map where random spells are cast on players, for both good and evil purposes. The two-week-long event, which starts now and ends on November 8th,  will also let players cast their own spells to buff their equipment like "shifting paint colors, ghost summoning, flaming footsteps and more."

The charity is no trick and the skins are quite the treat.

Grab Rare Halloween Minecraft Skins By Donating to Charity

This past weekend, Co-Optimus and hundreds of other organizations teamed together to generate roughly 2 million dollars to the Children’s Miracle Network through the 2012 Extra Life fundraiser. Though slightly different in the fundraising approach than us, the developers of Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition will join in this charity season through the new "Halloween Skin Pack" DLC, where all its proceeds will go directly to charity.
