Classic Kung-Fu Co-Op action hit the Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network in Invincible Tiger: The Legend of Han Tao. The game is all about fast moves, fast dodging and crackerjack timing. Our latest review takes the game for a spin and determines whether or not there's any Chinese black magic at play.

If you look closely, you might even win a free code for the game.

Invincible Tiger Hints and TipsAugust 31st, 2009 at 8:31 AM by Nicholas "bapenguin" Puleo

I've been playing a lot of Invincible Tiger lately, getting ready for our review this week.  I'm a very aggressive player in most fighting and beat em up games, but Invincible Tiger is a game about balance.  You see, Invincible Tiger: The Legend of Han Tao rewards you not only for attacking, but defending.  Instead of blocking, you'll dodge and roll to fill up a Yin-Yang meter which increases your combo and score.

The team at Blitz games has put together a short hints and tips video showing off some of the combos, boss fights, and general how to of the game.  It definitely helped my score so check it out.  And remember - all of this is valid for co-op - in fact the Yin-Yang meter is shared in co-op play!

Invincible Tiger: The Legend of Han Tao hit the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade this week.  Fierce dragon punches, five point palm exploding heart techniques and more delight your screen, in full 3d if you wish, while classic kung-fu inspired music satisfies your ears.

The aforementioned music is now available to download, for free.  Yes, you won't have to kung-fu kick anyone, or sneak in like a ninja to steal this music.  It's yours just for clicking this link.

Co-Op Release Alert: Invincible Tiger: The Legend of Han TaoAugust 26th, 2009 at 7:53 AM by Nicholas "bapenguin" Puleo

We had played this game initially all the way back in February at the NY Comic-Con, but seven months later the rest of the world will be able to issue some kung fu action to a ninja's face, all with the help of a buddy.

Invincible Tiger: The Legend of Han Tao hits the Xbox Live Arcade today for 1200  and tomorrow on the PlayStation Network for $14.99.  Featuring offline and online co-op, Invincible Tiger is inspired by classic kung-fu and cheesy action films like Big Trouble in Little China.  Need we say more?

Invincible Tiger Kills Bill in the Latest TrailerAugust 22nd, 2009 at 1:45 PM by Nicholas "bapenguin" Puleo

Invincible Tiger: The Legend of Han Tao hits the Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network this week.  The game is a two player co-op beat em up set in 70's kung-fu style action.  Blitz games has unleashed a new trailer showing off some gameplay from the game.  Sadly there's no co-op to be seen in the trailer.  It's ok, they make up for it.  Oh yes - that's a Five Point Palm Exploding Heart Technique you spot.

Bill is dead.

Don't forget to check out our co-op interview with Blitz Games as well!

Invincible Tiger: The Legend of Han Tao Co-Op InterviewAugust 10th, 2009 at 8:12 AM by Nicholas "bapenguin" Puleo

With a recently announced release date of late August, we figured it was a good time to get the goods on Invincible Tiger: The Legend of Han Tao's co-op mode. A kung-fu film inspired game, Invincible Tiger looks to bring co-op beat em ups back to the new age - in 3D too!

Face the Funk in Invincible TigerApril 12th, 2009 at 9:30 AM by Nicholas "bapenguin" Puleo

Every once in a while a game comes along that simply looks like a blast to play.  Just watching the game in motion brings a smile to your face, I dare say that Invincible Tiger: The Legend of Han Tao is one of those games.

The latest trailer features a heavy dose of 70's style kung-fu funk as the Invincible Tiger takes on swarms of Ninjas.  Sadly the trailer lacks any footage of the game's two player co-op mode, but if anything, it should make you want it even more.

Invincible Tiger: The Legend of Han Tao is set to be released on Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network this summer and supports a two player local co-op mode.

New Invincible Tiger Screens Show No TigersFebruary 22nd, 2009 at 7:40 PM by Nicholas "bapenguin" Puleo

Invincible Tiger: The Legend of Han Tao isn't only the Xbox Live Arcade and PSN game with the longest name next to Street Fighter II: Turbo HD Remix - it's a 2 player co-op kung-fu brawl with a lot of style.

In fact, we played the game earlier this month at the New York Comic-Con and came away fairly impressed.  Namco-Bandai has released a handful of new screens for the game, all of the sadly, are missing tigers.  The latest screens still do a great job of showing off the 70s style kung-fu action, despite the missing felines.
