Kung Fu Panda was not a must-buy for Xbox owners, but if you bought an Xbox 360 this past spring, it's very likely that you got stuck with a copy anyway. Is there any better way to grab some Achievements than by spinning through a co-op children's game on a rainy Saturday afternoon? Answer: yes, there is.

Oh, wait a second! Did you just waste the entire review on the front page? No, not quite: while there are better things to do than bounce bipedal wild hogs across the room with your kung fu belly, the game does have a co-op mode wherein you fight waves of enemies - "Horde mode" style. Console bundles are not hard to come by. Classic consoles almost always had a decent game packaged with them, and with three hot competitors, manufacturers are constantly trying to find ways to lure consumers into spending hard-earned cash on their product.
 

Of course, a high-dollar purchase isn't so simple these days. The general population is holding a little more tightly to their cash. There are only so many ways to entice a buyer, and a bundled deal is probably the most classic and proven method; even fast food joints depend on the "all-powerful bundled deal" to make true profit. (Want to sink McDonald's? Stop buying fries. They'll go belly-up in a month.)
 

Whether by coincidence or Master Plan, Microsoft's bundle lineup this season subtly appeals to co-op gamers, and more specifically multi-child families -- the epitome of "couch co-op" gamer tribes -- by offering titles that feature offline cooperative modes, thereby encouraging co-op gameplay without additional costs such as a Live Gold subscription or separate consoles.
